Tapas for two people with small appetites, probably should have had the instead of four since we originally hoped we would have... room for dessert. Table bread with olive oil was sourdough and delicious. The roasted squash was excellent. Bacon wrapped datestasty, but one of us didn't like the cheese it comes with, too strong. Had to reserve a table to get one. Bathroom was cleanand had decent space. Service was attentive and the bill had qr code to pay on your phone (we just used credit). Read more
Had a tapas dinner last night (my first visit there). I ordered two tapas dishes, Spinach with Chickpeas, and the Grilled... Pulpo. Everything was delicious. Had two small glasses of wine from their excellent selection, and enjoyed them both. Eventhe bread and the house olive oil were superior quality. Best of all was the service. Arrived early and was greeted cheerfullyby Isabella, who provided me with exactly the table I wanted. The waiter, Molly, was careful to provide exactly what I wanted,and followed up to ensure the dishes were just right. What sets this restaurant apart is that the staff work so well as a team,and they all knew about my wishes and preferences because they communicated so well. I will definitely be back! Read more
I love the other locations of Barcelona. So excited to have a Barcelona right next to us now!!! They did a fantastic job with... the interior. The interior design is tasteful and creates a nice atmosphere. The music selection and volume was also spoton. As expected the food and the drinks were fantastic. A great addition to the Cambridge restaurant scene. We sat at the barand at a table and both were perfect (I personally prefer the bar). Read more
Good food?. Same quality and size as the brookline location but service is not. We waited 30 min after been seated to have a... waiter coming to us. They brought appetizers but no bread and water ?. Wine bottle came with the entries?.. bottom line ? stilla lot of work to be done. For now I will keep going back to the brookline location. Read more
I would definitely recommend coming here for food or drinks! I have been meaning to check out Barcelona Wine Bar for a while,... and now there?s one right in my neighborhood! Currently, they are doing a soft opening and only taking walk-ins. Theservers/bartenders were attentive and friendly, and also offered helpful info and suggestions about the menu. The vibes wereimmaculate, with a dimly lit and very well decorated interior, and they also offer outdoor dining! This would be a solid choicefor a date or a group get together. This spot has one of the largest wine menus (by the glass) that I?ve seen at a restaurantin Boston, and the bar is also incredibly well stocked. The red sangria was the perfect blend of fruity but not too sweet. Ialso ordered some tapas, which arrived quickly and were absolutely delicious. They are especially good at doing seafood, so Iwould recommend trying some of their seafood dishes. Read more
