A very fine restaurant sharing the same bar with the Za next door. Friendly and thoughtful serving staff (Eileen & Tristan). In... close proximity to Charles river and steps away from the kayak launching site, the spacious outdoor tables are good place tohang out at all times. Before any more time goes by, I need to post an EVOO review. Last month my son and daughter-in-law hosted their rehearsal... dinner at EVOO. The tasteful and pleasant private dining room was just the right size for the small reception of around twentyguests. The service was impeccable, the servers completely delightful. It was the perfect venue to begin the weekendfestivities. Oh, the food: THE best beef tenderloin I’ve ever tasted. My husband felt exactly the same about his salmon. (Please believe me.) There can be a lot of nerves that need to settle down at the start of a weekend like this, with somefamily members meeting for the first time. This place offers food with fresh and local ingredients. We tried the salmon, the hamburger and the pannacota. Everything was... really good, we particularly enjoyed the hamburger and dessert. The staff was very nice but we waited for a while for our foodto come. Read more
Evoo prides themselves in having a locally sourced menu with a detailed list of their food provider's on the menu. To maintain... their goal, they change the menu often. The food is awesome and expertly prepared, if a little pricey, you can expect to pay 26dollars or more for a main dish. Read more
This cute but sophisticated little restaurant in Cambridge is definitely worth the visit. It you are 1-2, sit at the chef tables... and watch the food preparation and have great table side service. There food is the attraction here with an eclectic mix ofdelightful and healthy foods as well as incredible burgers. They blue fish was outstanding! Read more
Great food and service at a fair price. My favorite was the haddock with red curry and rice balls. The sous vide chicken was... really good too! Also loved the parsnip soup!! All the ingedients are from local farmers thay they list on the meny, so that'spretty cool! Read more
We used EVOO for our wedding rehearsal! We consider ourselves so fortunate to have discovered this restaurant on a Kendall... Square food tour a few years ago. At the time that we booked, they were closing the restaurant on Friday evenings and sectioningoff the areas for private events. Luckily, we were the only event in the restaurant the evening of our rehearsal dinner.Management’s communication was flawless and personal. The chef and their team assembled a delightful menu with seasonal dishesthat highlighted the classic flavors of New England for our out-of-town guests. Even the vegetarians dined like royalty. And weloved that they included one of our engagement photos on the printed menu. They really made what would have been a small part ofour wedding weekend into an intimate gathering of our closest friends and family. We plan to go back to celebrate our firstanniversary in a place that has become so special to us. Read more
