It used to be my go-to place for lunch many years back. Not sure if COVID forced a management change, most of the employees are... different now and the restaurant had a new menu. Unfortunately things didn’t change for the better for the restaurant. Fewcomments from a not-so-great dining experience today: 1. Summer Lover, aka. Steak fries + small bowl of coconut soup for$10.95… I understand it’s inflation time, but for about 15 slices of fries (one of them so over fried that they don’t evenbother to pick it out), and a bowl of soup as a dip? Who uses soup as fries dip? It’s too watery to have fries pick up anysoup and the taste together is just strange. A 100% rip off. 2. Their spicy level. I used to remember when nine’ taste’sspicy level is legitimately spicy, with ????, ???? ????, and ???? ???? ????. The dish I ordered today with three pepper signs, tasted sour and sweet, nothing close to the level of spiciness indicated. One of Thai food’s essences is its spicy level thatactivates the taste buds. They failed miserably. Overall, the taste of Thai food has gone downhill since pre-COVID times. Isuspect there’s a chance of management and of course, chefs as well, along with a hyper inflated menu items. As a formerloyal customer of Nine-Taste, I would not come here again. Read more

Pretty solid as it goes for Thai food, quality and moderate price ($29) for good amount of food, smaller than average portions... but tasty and moderately filling, more filling last time but same good quality (10/1/22). Read more

service was great, the place is clean, and altho it was quite busy (it's friday) we were sitted quickly and food came out... roughly 10 minutes. now food quality tho... tom yum wasn't hot enough temperature wise. the flavor's underwhelming too. couldbarely taste the sourness and spice. the mushroom wasn't fully cooked at all. the padthai is on the wet side and had a lot ofsauce which was weird.. it's an american thai food and far from the word authentic. I'm disappointed. The current Nine Tastes seems to have significantly downgraded from the reliable excellent food preparation... and comfortably cozy dining environment of the pre-covid Nine Tastes. Menu items seem overly Americanized now and almost likefast food in a mall food court. The new plastic laminated menu with colorful pics and fewer words is a turn off. Server waspleasant though forgetful. Though the food seemed to be of good quality and was fresh, they may have changed the recipes to suittourists rather than those who love and seek out good authentic-ish Thai food. Boo hoo. Read more

Very close to Harvard campus. They seated us quickly and our food didn’t take too long to come. As I do at all Thai food... places, I ordered the Pad Thai. I’ve had a lot of Pad Thai from a lot of different places and I’d probably say it was in thebottom half of places I’ve been. It was very wet which I wasn’t a big fan of. My friend said his curry was pretty good butnot the best he’s ever had. It’s not bad if you’re in the area and in the mood for Thai, but it isn’t anything to writehome about. Read more
