I wanted to like this place, and I normally will try a place 3 times before rating...but after this 1 bad experience, I won't be... back. 1 bite into the braised carnitas burrito and I was disgusted. Bone and cartilage chips filled the burrito. I couldn'treturn the burrito as I was at work, but if I could've returned it I would've asked for a refund. The ambiance is nice. The food was alright. The service was a bit disappointing since my partner and I stood at the front door... and didn't get seated, so we ended up having to order take out, then watched two other couples walk in and get seated. Thataside, the food was alright. It wasn't bad but it wasn't anything I felt hyped about. This place is expensive but it's one of the all-time greats in Cambridge. Rivalled in its aesthetic category only by Orinoco,... the food tastes amazing and it is a great experience for what it tries to be: a more upscale dining experience with really goodMexican food. Overall the food is good for a quick bite for lunch. The service is very fast. I ordered three tacos for lunch today. They are... Pollo Tinga, Baja, and al Pastor. The flavor was good, but not amazing. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 7. I like myMexican food to have a little more oomph when it's intended to be. I did not get that today.
