This place is a huge disappointment! They act like they have turkish dishes and beverages on the menu and they don?t even have a... real turkish product!!! I am turkish and this was a big scam for me. For one thing they show in photos to have turkish teaserved in a traditional turkish glass. When we asked for turkish tea they said they only have what is called ?traditionalturkish apple and chamomile tea? which is NOT EVEN A THING. Every person and restaurant in Turkey serves black tea. The tea theybrought is not even brewing, it s such a bad serving. We talked to them about this and they even said ?oh this is how turkishcoffee is served not a turkish tea, and i promise you this apple chamomile tea is turkish?. Unbelievable confidence from aperson that has nothing to do withh Turkey. The thing they serve as ?Turkish Simit? has nothing to do with actual Simit, it sjust a bagel with sesame seeds and not even fresh. The actual turkish simit is made with molasses and is crispy. Whatever theyserved as ?Borek? is just fried dough and such a small portion for $11. Nothing on this menu is worth the price and totallydifferent than what they re represented as. Read more

A delicious assortment of savory and sweet Middle Eastern food prepared in approachable formats. Lots of wonderful flavors and... textures to experience here. Good staff, though overwhelmed at times with how busy it can get. Be patient and be nice. They alsohave a few items to buy for your own kitchen (find a spice you've never heard of and bring it home!) As well as a refrigeratedcase for grab and go items. Read more

The Turkish breakfast came without a pita. The flavors were too intense without a pita. We had to ask for a pita and were... charged for it. The pancakes were far too salty and undercooked. The portions were all really small. Positives: The staff isvery kind and friendly and the iced chai is great. Read more

It's so worth the wait! Just join the line then enjoy the superb preparation and original creations that give Sofra an... intercontinental reputation. Better than Europe but with plastic spoons. Read more

I bought $60 of pastries at Sofra today. My first visit. The praline pecan croissant was very tasty, but the 3 rhubarb pastry... were not proofed properly and unfortunately had an undercooked dough. I bought 3 of these at $5 per, so not very happy aboutspending $15 on uncooked pastry. Do you see the condensed mass of dough. This is supposed to be fluffy and cooked on the bottom.Whoever is in charge of this pastry doesn?t know how to make this. Read more
