A restaurant by this name existed years ago just up the street from where it is now located. I don't know if it's run by the... same owners as it was before and I don't think it is. It used to be good years ago before it closed. This restaurant that is nowopen that has the same name is nothing like the old Mings. My wife and I were recently there during the August civic holiday. IfI were to do it all over again I would go to George's Fine Chinese Restaurant in stead. Read more

Thought id get a standard Canadian style Chinese combo. Didn’t expect it to be great, but it was far worse then my very modest... expectations. I ordered the S4 combo and It was maximally on par with heated up frozen finger foods with very poor quality meatin the “general Tso chicken” which was just fried batter with tiny bits of chicken gristle. I’d been warned that management had changed since I last went in but I didn’t listen. I got a combo special. Veggies were... cold. Beef was low quality. And the rice was obviously reheated and still in the shape of the container it was heated in. Theonly thing I liked was the Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls, they were hot and the batter-chicken ratio was good. There wasn’t alot of sauce and it was served on the side. I don’t like the S&S sauce so this was fine with me but others might take issue.It’s a shame, growing up I really loved coming here, the lady who ran it made some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. Food was not what we expected ! The only restaurant opened on new years Eve was this ! Chicken ball has tiny piece of chicken in... big balls that was undercooked, gravy was watery with no flavours. Spend $60 not even single dish was edible and threw it intrash. Read more
dropped my mother and aunt of at this restaurant to go have lunch after shopping and took 2 bites of chicken wings and they were... completely Raw as per attached picture. Cutlery was plastic and everything was very greasy. then when they resfuesed to pay theowner called the police on my mom. Worst place ever. DO NOT ORDER FROM This PLACE !! Read more
I it was possible to give negative stars I would. Today was the last straw. I have been a faithful customer of mings in... Cambridge for the past 8 years. The food was great prices reasonable delivery prompt. No more! This is the third time I’veordered since Covid19 the quality has gone straight down I always order the same items the chicken was petrified and foultasting. The black been was off and have you ever seen whatever this hard as a rock hole filled item in a stir fry or ever? Totop it off they almost double the price and added the bill wrong . Ordered through skip the dishes. Not impressed.. charged $11 for sweet and sour wontons (generally cheese filled at other... places) got a bag of greasy fried wontons chips. Something like that should not cost that much and there was no description onthe food so I feel a little tricked into wasting my money. On top of this the food we ordered was not fully available so theyreplaced our rice with noodles(which I approved) but we were supposed to get shrimp and they only sent vegetable.. again wastingmoney… Read more
