This is by far the best Chinese food restaurant in Cambridge!!!! We moved here almost five years ago and have been looking for... a good Chinese restaurant and we finally found an awesome one! The food is always amazing, but myself and a Few others find the man answering the phone to be very rude. I don't think I'll be... going there anymore or ordering. No need for rude comments like he's been giving to people. Maybe customers would pay theoutrageous prices if the service was as good as the food. Read more
Won?t do delivery unless they feel fit. Close at 8pm won?t take delivery order after 6pm. What once was a 5 star review is now... a one star. I was generous before. The food is salty af. And guy on phone rude as ****. Read more
I've been going here for 40 years. The food is hot and so quick.. You get your moneys worth on take too more than I can say for... the other place down the road that has been around since the 1940's. Now that they are opening the gates of the Plandemic I hopethey put their hours back to where they belong and open 6 days a week. I was in the mood today for some but they are now just aweekend stop over with their limited hours. This is what the Plan Demic has done to this business and many more. Hoping theyopen up again to better hours. The food here is great. I've never been disappointed.Years ago we would get delivery and it washere in 15 minutes!!! I wish they would get back to regular hours open like they were before the plan demic hit. Read more
Stopped in at 3pm when it says they are open and was closed, called back around 4pm and still no answer. Have always enjoyed the... food but if you are not going to be open atleast put a sign on the door. Mother inlaw was disapointed this was her pick forbirthday dinner. Read more
I have been getting shanghai chinese food for over 20 years. I will no longer be getting the food they offer from this point on.... After only asking a simple question about the menu I was told to go to hell by the apparent owner David. If this is how youtreat your customers, over a simple question, I would maybe reconsider your proffesion, or be a little more polite. Read more
This is second time I ordered a $30 dollar meal . Food came hot, but very greasy. Cardboard was saturated under dish. Not a... drop of gravy on the soo guy almond. Sweet and sour chicken was puffy..( obviously not chicken) very disappointed. Called tocomplain, manager was very abrupt..quick to hang up. Won't order again from there. Shanghai Resaurant has always come through in a Pinch. I have even converted some relatives to purchase their food. Even... though it's now pickup only, I like that they are business like but polite. I will continue to support this local business. Read more
