Ok so nothing to special about this pizza but only pizza joint in town. Very friendly staff as always. I ordered for pick up... and said pizza be ready in 35 minutes. Ok so I made it at the 40 minute mark but the pizza was cold. They didn?t keep it in awarmer or anything. On plus side I did get 4 butter garlics. It definitely disappointed me this go around. But still willorder in future since only pizza place in town. Read more
I love this location compared to the lake mills one. The crew here is just so nice. Very clean store. I placed a order over the... phone for pickup a few weeks ago and I spoke with amber, she was so nice and just really patient. She helped out as far as whatI was looking to order and the deals that they had.. The manager I think his name was hunter, has helped out with somemiscommunication as well and was super nice. Training here was done amazing. The crew is just amazing. The food is fresh andliterally coming off the oven as you get there. Its a recommend. They also sell ice cream here which is a great desert for afterthe pizza. Read more
The food was good and arrived at a decent time, but the guy who delivered it threw out there that he should get a bigger tip. I... threw him 5 bucks extra but found it offensive. I have every right to tip whether I have the money or not, it's not mandatory. Ido not plan on tipping that guy if he ever delivers to my house again. Read more
(READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH please) I had to edit my review from this past summer. I loved the manager last year and when Pizza... Pit changed management and began to service Deerfield we had a TON of mix ups and not just at Cambridge, at the Lake Mills PPitalso. It was beyond a minor issue and it just wasn?t getting better, it got worse. This seemed primarily an employeeissue. Since I last wrote my 1 star review, a lot has changed. The new manager has gone above and beyond. He remembers us whenwe call in, and is beyond kind. When we heard they had new management we gave them one last try and we haven?t been disappointedsince. I really do feel like these guys worked hard to get our business back. I hope to be able to update my review again in afew months to a 5 star:) Time will tell. I applaud you Cambridge Pizza Pit. Unfortunately, there are not many food delivery options in Cambridge. One star goes to being the "only show in town" and the... other star goes to the Pizzas we've ordered being generally decent. The vastly disappointing thing about this place is theyhave screwed up my orders 9/10 times. Every order, they forget to deliver the extra sauce I pay for. Excuses include: -Don'torder online because it doesn't print everything on our slip (which is a lie - the receipt they send with the pizza always haseverything they are missing on it) -We didn't see that on the slip -You don't have to pay for the extra sauce because the cheesesticks already comes with 3 cheese (then WHY wouldn't you send it with three when two extra are paid for, and, WHY don't I getmore than one cheese sauce when I don't pay for extra?) Then, to be fair, I always get an apology and someone always offers tobring me what was left behind or they offer to make another pizza when they miss toppings that were added to the order. Taste:I think pizza appreciation is a very personal thing, so I wouldn't want to put someone off based on my opinion. I likepepperoni on top of cheese to be crispy, but that isn't done here. They cheese blend they use tastes great, but exudes a lot ofgrease that makes the crust soggy with grease. The crust: I have ordered thin, thick, and regular crust and there is ABSOLUTELYNO DIFFERENCE. Either that, or you can chuck that up to additional orders that have been screwed up in the past. Staff: Mostlyfriendly high-school student working part time. The adults working there seem to enjoy their job and are very pleasant. I'dlove to be able to start giving these guys credit for a job well done, but frankly, I've only gotten what I ordered correctlythe first time a couple times in the past 6 months. Read more
This is the only time in history we've ever thrown out pizza. Although we've had several decent pies from this ... place, tonight apparently they had used marinara (or tomato soup? that's what it tasted like) instead of pizza sauce. Cheese was also scarce. The pizza was totally inedible. When we spoke to the manager to request a refund, he was very rude and said it "tasted fine to him" (we didn't get the refund). Not giving another penny to this guy. The only bad experience I have had with this Pizza Pit is that I have called a couple of times and no answer. Otherwise, I order... for delivery in Deerfield 2 to 3 times a month and the pizza taste great and is always delivered warm. I am surprised at the badreviews on this page. Read more
Only pizza place in town, and I watched the pizza maker make my pizza and others with no gloves. Super gross as he was touching... everything. Not only is it unsanitary, but we are in a world with covid going around.. please don't handle money, phones, andmake my pizza. Where gloves change gloves and wash in-between. Gross???? Read more
