Great place, with great interior. Repurposed fire station. Great food, in general. The apple cobbler was undercooked. Avoid the... dessert. Read more

this is a decent hand breaded tenderloin. we prefer our tenderloins a bit thicker, but this was still excellent good quality... tenderloin without any gristle or fat. the bun held up. love the straw onions. haven't had those since the seventies, yumm. lost a point for using styrofoam. we asked if we could wrap it in foil but no let's use some petroleum base unrecyclablestyrofoam Read more

If you decide to eat at number 9 grill order a steak, fantastic steaks, the hamburger's are handmade and delicious. You get... good portions, and will probably need a take home box. Do not order the club sandwich! It was horrible and probably the mostpathetic sandwich I ever had to eat. Read more

Update. Third time is the charm. This time the food was delicious- steak and lobster worth every penny. Good service. The wine... list could use a little upgrade but overall a very nice dining experience after a rough day. ***************************** Wehave been here twice. The first time the steaks didn?t have flavor and we chalked the experience up to pandemic restrictions.Almost an hour wait outside to get in; reservations not taken on Fri- Sat. Tonight (Friday) we went there and had nicelyflavored steaks, but the dining experience was not what it should be for a $$$ ticket. My husband had the rib eye (good flavor):I had the filet. I asked for it to be cooked medium and it came out close to rare. I sent it back and it was still not mediumbut I ate it anyway. My daughter had the fried shrimp basket-average. The shrimp cocktail did have large shrimp with a cocktailsauce reminiscent of St Elmos but not as strong- not bad. Salads- average. Sides- average. We didn?t get bread and when I sawother tables getting it, I asked for it mid-meal. The ambience is what you would expect at a Lone Star, with teenagers runningthe front. The wine list - average. It has an advantage as you would need to go to Noblesville, Fishers or some place like thatto find a good steak with good service and a nice dining experience (for the same price by the way), and most people from thisarea will not go that far. The steaks are in the $20s-$30s. There was a definite rush to get us out, which also affected thedining experience. Overall I wanted it to be more than it is. Read more
