We held our son and daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner in the Turn Bar off the Rambler. Jeremy was super great to work with... during the planning! The food was served piping hot even though we arrived late. Our buffet choices were Chicken Marsala,Chicken Parmesan and the Cheese Lasagna. All very delicious and high quality. Jeremy and team took great care of us during theevent were so friendly! Highly recommend the Rambler/Kelly Ballroom at the Riverside Golf Course for events! Took my wife there for our 55th wedding anniversary. We arrived at 3 not knowing that regular menu wasn't available until 5.... Our waitress, Natalia, went to bat for us and the chef kindly agreed to prepare our meal. My wife had their chicken and I hadthe haddock. The meals were excellent. If you want a sandwich then it's a good place to eat. The entrees definitely leave something to be desired, they have a ways to... go if they are trying to pull off fine dining. The craft beer selection is very poor. Our server was a nice young man but wasvery inexperienced with what the restaurant has to offer. Every question we asked was answered with either "I don't know" orwhat he answered was incorrect. Giving 3 stars was generous but from talking with the manager we understand that they areworking to improve the restaurant. We'll give it one more try in a few weeks. Read more
My family and I ate at the Rambler last week. BEST EVER!! I'd give it more than 5 stars. The food was the perfectly cooked and... plentiful. The waitress was fabulous and the manager/owner came to our table to make sure everything was to our liking. TheRambler is my new favorite place. Well worth the extra 10 minute drive from Erie. Visit this restaurant!!! The food was fantastic and the service was even better! We ate at the restaurant with a small party.... Our server, Candy, was one of the best we’ve ever had. She was so friendly and accommodating. In fact one of our mealswasn’t as expected. We weren’t upset about this at all because this happens of course. But Our server and the owners cameout to apologize and went above and beyond to make sure we left in great spirits. You will not find better customer service atanother restaurant. And the food and the was equally as great! Keep this local business going! They deserve it. It’s inCambridge Springs, PA. If you’re in the area it’s worth a stop. First you just have to try the Pork Wings in the appetizer section absolutely yummy. In fact I could do this as a meal. The... 8oz sirloin was cooked medium rare as requested. Everything was very well seasoned and the service was exceptional. Golf maybe over right now but the restaurant is open and I find it to be one of the better restaurants that's on the Erie Fine Dininglist. Read more
