Nice down home place with delicious food. I love that you can get breakfast all day. I've been here in numerous occasions. Sunday brunch (4th of July weekend). It was very busy, 1 hour wait. Put my name down went outside the building to wait (no... buzzer given). Went back inside (45 minutes later)to check on seating status... was marked as a No Show. After explaining wewere waiting outside (due to no seating inside) and no one came outside to call us. The pancakes in Bob Evans taste like they were made from scratch. The blueberries were cooked into the pancake. Which gave the... pancake a moist and fluffy texture. The staff is friendly. And the service was fast and accurate. The coffee was too strong formy taste. But if you like strong coffee; you would probably like Bob Evans coffee. I'm giving 2 stars because service was good, wait time wasn't long, restaurant was clean, and prices were decent. BUT the taste... of the Food was horrible and undercooked. I was really excited because it looked delicious and it tasted bad. I don't think itwas the cook himself I think it was the Bob Evan's product itself besides the slightly undercooked sausage links. The sausagepatties had a nasty aftertaste, the pancakes were looked light and fluffy but tasted mushy. I thought maybe the Banana Nut Breadmight be good since it was prepackaged but No it was disappointing. I can make Banana Bread from a box better than it tasted.The iced tea was the best thing there. Stopped in for breakfast, there was about a 15 minute wait due to a large amount of customers. They called us in right on time.... The restaurant was very warm due to the air conditioner being broken; the server said it had been broken for 2 weeks. It tooklonger than normal for a server to come to our table to get drinks. When the food came, the food was good. Our server was good.I've been here before and it's always no issues. I think today was out of the norm. Read more
The banana nut hotcakes where substantial and delicious. The coffee ...even the decaf was delicious. The fruit option instead... of the hash browns was bigger than I expected and very fresh. The staff was attentive and very kind. All in all a verypleasurable meal and time. Read more
