Franny's Bistro is truly one of our favorite restaurants where my husband and I have enjoyed many wonderful and amazing dinners.... We are never disappointed with our dining experience there! The atmosphere is casual, warm and inviting, whether dining insideor out, and the wait staff is attentive, friendly and courteous, always serving guests with a smile. Best of all, the meals areamazing, very appealing to the eye and deliciously satisfying to the taste buds! Our party of four loved every aspect of our dining experience at Franny’s. After two weeks of eating at the most delicious... restaurants around Maine, and especially Camden, this meal is easily in our top two. Our waitress, Bianca, was fantastic. Shewas knowledgeable, friendly, and the service was impeccable. Probably the best meal I've had in Maine! The dishes were fantastic, well presented and beautifully cooked. The portion sizes... were also great. The drinks were forgettable and the service started off a little rocky but the food was so fantastic that itcompletely overrides any bumps. I highly recommend. In case you were confused like I was, they close at 8 but you can make an8:15pm reservation. The restaurant doesn't rush you at all. The outside area is heated but note it's not enclosed so there canbe bugs. Read more
Very nice meal. The food was amazing. Many great choices executed brilliantly. Scallops, mussels, halibut all cooked... perfectly. Servers were all very nice but there was a bit of a delay receiving our entrees (more than a bit.). Would highlyrecommend as long as you have patience. Read more
We were fortunate to have dinner at Franny's Bistro last night. Beginning with a warm greeting from the hostess/owner, through a... wonderfully inspired meal, to a special birthday desert for my husband, we couldn't have been more pleased. By far the best mealwe've ever had in Camden - we can't wait to return. The service was on point, the atmosphere was whimsical and comfortable, andthe food was creative and delicious. Wow! What an amazing place. Let's start with the atmosphere, it's elegant and cozy. The wine list is plentiful and unique. We... tried one of the signature drinks and it was fantastic! Now let's talk about the food and service. The service is top notch!Jenna and Jen are absolutely the best! They are personal, professional, and kind, in addition they really care about theexperience. Lastly, the food was OUTSTANDING! I highly recommend the Shrimp dumplings with cucumber salad (they turnedcucumbers into spaghetti, it's got to be magic). I had the swordfish and my partner had the halibut, it was a perfect portionand delicious. Oh... Let's not forget the dessert! Woah!!!
