This place has ALWAYS been my standard-bearer for real Mexican food. It was my FIRST (when it first opened). They never fail... me ~ Baja Burrito is my jam, with an extra pour of red sauce. I have eaten other food items but I always come back to the Bajaor Baby Baja. The place is a hole-in-the-wall ~ YES, but it has found ways to expand. That's part of the appeal, actually. IfI could, I would buy it as I see they want to retire & I'm afraid some newly-relocated out of staters will buy it and RUIN it???? See you soon!! Read more
First time, not the last. We will return! Incredible customer service, very friendly staff, good meal. On top of it all,... really a fun and comfortable environment. The food that we tried was excellent! The guacamole was fresh and the quesidilla was delicious. No draft beer unfortunately. ... And we thought $5 for a bottle of Dos Equis Amber was pricey. It's a unique, eclectic place. Wished they were open more days. Based on how crowded it was, I'd think they could justify more hours. Definitely worth a visit! Read more
Was over a 2 hour wait ordered a pitcher of margaritas between 3 of us was $32.oo and absolutely no alchol! when we did finally... get seated upstairs it was super hot we were all sweating Ordered another margarita and was pure syrup! Salsa tasted like ketsupwhen we ordered our food and finally received it looked like it had been sitting on the plate for a week... ! Six little piecesof meat on chicken and beef nachos! Not worth the wait almost 2 hours and terrible service. The best thing we had was the pico and the margaritas. Ordered the... Mexican pizza it was soggy. Also ordered the combo dinner the tamale was so dry I could bearly chew it, the Chile reneno tasteslike a corn dog, the beans terrible and the rice tasted like ketchup. I?ve been here about a handful of times and have never been disappointed. Our friends are obsessed with Tres. Any time they get... to pick a couples night out, this is where we go. My husband and I arrived early and decided to hang at the bar while we waitedfor our group. Ordered chips & salsa and beers. It was already busy (around 5pm) but not overly crowded yet. The staff wasfriendly and engaging with patrons. Once our group of 8 was all there, we were seated. We were in the mid section of therestaurant (I guess it would be the 3rd level, just below the top section). We had not ever sat in this section before but itwas cozy. Our server was to our table quickly and had our drinks out shortly after. We ordered a variety of foods fromchimichangas, to sliders. Everyone was happy with their choices. I can?t remember if mine was the fried burrito or chimichangabut it was sooooo good. The beans were meh and same with the rice but I?m really picky about beans and rice so it?s notcompletely Tres?s fault. This was the first time I had a dessert here. OMG...
