My hubby and I ate lunch at LongHorn today. Was pleasantly surprised with the tasteful decor. We had to wait a couple minutes at... the check-in area since the hostess was busy writing something. She kept apologizing so I guess whatever she was writing wasimportant??????????? No biggie. Our server, Christina, was very nice. She told us that the menu's flavors were bold (I believethat's the word she used) and if we didn't want that to let her know. Both my hubby and I had medium-well done steaks. His wascooked correctly but mine was more on the medium side. My husband's side was a baked potato. LongHorn considered the potatoessmall so he received two. Very thoughtful!???? I received a side of mushrooms, which were extremely salty. I'm not sure if thatwas the "bold" flavor Christina had mentioned, but Wow!???? I love salt but the mushrooms were way too salty for my taste. Oh,almost forget. Loved the crusty loaf of bread and butter that we received before our meal. Overall, very nice experience.However, not sure if we'll be eating here again in the near futur due to my undercooked steak and oversalted mushrooms. Read more
First time eating here today and it was great. Our waitress, Moriah, was absolutely fantastic. The manager today, Bethany I... believe, came around to ensure our dinner was up to par and everything was going smoothly. I had a Ribeye and I thought it waspretty darn good. Great crust on it. Our waitress was amazing. We were celebrating our anniversary and after dinner we had no room left for dessert but she surprised... us anyways with a special sundae. The meal was really good. The outlaw ribeye wasn?t super tender this time nor were the porkchops but the flavours were good and everything else was good. Had we wanted to swap the steak out we could have but it?s notthe restaurants fault and it was more than fine this time. The meat was a 3.5 but everything else was a 5. I'm not usually impressed with chains but this was an exception. Super clean place. Every staff person we interacted with was... pleasant and comfortable. Our server was excellent. If you go to the Camillas NY one, ask for Ally (sp?). She was great. Clearlya little overwhelmed as it was busy when went but she kept her cool, was helpful with suggestions and smiled the whole time.Price was appropriate for our meal. I got the ground steak with a parmesan crust. Delicious. Salad was fresh. Just a really goodexperience all around. Read more
