We were lucky ti grab a seat at the bar on a Friday. They had plenty of bartenders so we didn't have any issues with service.... The chips and salsa are a great way to start. The salsa has a nice smoked taste and the chips a thinker then most other Mexicanrestaurants with a nice taste as well. I had the Buffalo Burrito which tasted great, but was a little smaller then I expected.The spicy fajitas were also very good. Read more

Very nice decor and furnishings. Food a bit pricey but tasty. Never been to a Mexican restaurant that the chips and salsa were... not free. HUGE selection of tequilas and decent draft beer selection. Fajitas were very good with huge chunks of grilledchicken. Rice a little bland. Tacos tasty but more cilantro and.onion than carne asada. Wife said the margarita was one of thebest she has ever had. First visit here, finally. The place is impressive as soon as you step inside with a new feel and large U bar with TVs. The food... didn't disappoint. I got the mahi tacos and they were as good as the best ones I get on the eastern shore. They have a largebeer selection of Mexican lagers and an entire chalk board of tequila options. Got there at 4 pm opening and took a couple seats at the bar. Ordered a margarita and a Budweiser but found out they had no... Budweiser. Another lager fit the bill. Ordered the standard guacamole which was excellent. Some nachos and some salsa came andthe salsa was quite tasty. The taste I had of the margarita was good as well. Ordered the carne asada and the chicken fiestasalad. The salad was average as well as the carne asada. Minimum latin influence in the staff. The decor was very nice and thetequila selection looked inviting. The restaurant filled up quickly and the service reflected the rush. Very clean overallincluding the restroom. Again we were lost in the rush and had to leave the cash in the bill when it arrived. The card wouldhave taken more time. The menu looks good so we will give it another go sometime, only after I go across the river to the otherguys. Hey , I want to give an update to this review because we went back! What a difference. The bartender, the one in the picwas fantastic! Tip that man! We had a shrimp borrito , and the mahi mahi with the rice .... Good plate of food. A couplecervasas and a mixed drink for my lady. Was excited to come to El Sol they did a great job with the decor and overall, the our first time here. Enjoyed the enchilada... Verde and the shrimp burrito. Food was excellent, quick service, and clean. Don't let the many cars in the parking lot foolyou, but there is plenty of space. They also have outside seating. Will be back again. Read more
