The food is good. Fresh and very tasty. It comes quick and the portions are quite large for the price. However, the employees... attitudes leave much to be desired. Been here twice now recently and both times the girl that took our order and the ones thatbrought out our food were about as pleasant as rectal exploratory surgery. They behaved like it was such a bother to take ourorder and serve our food. Might want to consider a different job/career if that?s your attitude. Love this place!! My go-to for a quick bite. Their Enchiladas Mexicanas is my all time favorite. Staff is friendly and helpful... with any questions we have. Queso dip is awesome! They have a nice menu with many options. Love the salsa bar. We always try totry something new and they never disappoint. Atmosphere is cozy and fun. We will continue to return here! Read more
I used to come to El Sol express a couple of years ago. The food was fresh and tasty. I am not a hugely picky person, but imo,... it is no longer as good as it used to be. I'm not sure if they changed their cooks recently or their ingredients, but the foodwas no better than a "Fiesta" day made by a high school lunch lady. While I did eat half of my meal, as I had not eaten anythingthat day, my guest literally took two bites and pushed the plate away. I was so excited to go back here after some time, I was sadly mistaken. Horrible service, cold food and the food had an odd... smell. They turned the lights off on us while we were still inside eating at 8:39pm even though the sign says they close at 9pm.Not sure why I thought using the bathroom was a good idea here. It was disgusting, certainly hadn?t been cleaned in some time.Seems like a change in ownership or management, this place use to be good before but I would recommend others to beware. This is one of our favorite places to eat and we average about three visits a month. Everything is made fresh to order, the... service is fast and you can depend on your meal being hot and tasty. We have tried almost everything on the menu and have neverbeen disappointed. They make the best taco salad in town because it does not have refried beans in it. Not that I don't enjoysome refried beans, but most taco salads you order are over powered by them i stead of the nice fresh lettuce, tomatoes,guacamole, and lots of good chicken, steak, or shrimp. By far the best Mexican food in the area. Fresh ingredients, cooked and spiced well, with fast service. The salsa bar is... excellent if you want to take it up a notch. Pricing is very reasonable. Just wish they were open Sundays. Read more
You can ignore any negative comments I've seen so far. This place always is a favorite for me and my coworkers. The food is... always fresh and lots of it. This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the area. I've always been amazed by their freshsalads. The lettuce and accompanying vegetables are crisp and flavorful. When I have a favorite restaurant, I usually have oneor two favorites I order. Here I always order whatever the special is since every dish I've had is soooo good! The price isreally good mostly averaging $9 to $10. Read more
