This is for the Camp Hill, PA location. We appreciate their mission and focus, but the food can be hit or miss here. On... 11/1/2022, we arrived at approximately 6:30 pm. The jalapeno cheese sausage was very good as was the green beans, cheesypotatoes and corn bread. Both the pork and turkey were somewhat dry. The caramel apple dessert was very sweet to the pointbecame too much. Although not ordered this time, the brisket has usually been very good. The restaurant was not very busy andwe choose a table near the entry doors. Soon after a couple with two misbehaved children sat near us. The children werewandering around on their own for a bit then once seated, one of them keep kicking the bottom on her seat (wood). The femaleseemed to know (perhaps is an employee there?) a staff worker who spent the better part of 15 minutes at their table talkingabout her personal life, which seems to be a mess. Personally, I don't care to hear about it when she was taken advantage ofwhen she was drunk. Don't get drunk and you won't have that problem! Seemed very immature and the fact that you loudly discussyour personal issue in public speaks volumes. Finally, for more than 10 minutes there was a loud (we were as far from thekitchen as possible) persistent banging coming from the kitchen. My family and I stopped by on our way out from our family trip to Hershey. Best stop! Food was great! Brisket was delicious and... the variety of BBQ sauces was a fun experience. I am partial to the Texas Twang. The service was above and beyond. Dawn madesure we had everything we needed and more. Thank you Dawn for making this experience a memorable one. I love this place. The workers are very nice and polite. The food is good I enjoy the brisket sandwich moist. With fat marbled... in it. I usually get the fries baked beans or Mac and cheese. The only thing about this place is it's not somewhere you eat ata bunch unless you have no problem spending money. It is a little pricey but I definitely enjoy eating here on occasion. I just wanted to leave a review and a thank you. The staff is always so very friendly and kind. Stopped in last night for a... quick meal and had my infant with me. Great food, great service. Super fast service. Friendly dining experience. We had the brisket sandwich Carolina style with slaw... on top. Dang good! You have your choice of lean or moist. The slaw was excellent. The staff was pleasant and helpful, offeringrefills and samples. We took a half chicken plate to pop which included green beans and slaw. Splendid. Visited Mission BBQ after searching around for local eateries. I had one of the best times at a restaurant in a long time. I was... greeted very kindly and professionally by the staff. My food was delivered fast and in perfect order. My trip there was onlyfurther enhanced by RoseMarie. She made sure that I was welcomed at Mission BBQ! Once she discovered it was my first time andfrom the west coast, she came back with a delicious brownie! Hands down, one of the best restaurant experiences I've had withfast food level speed. We used Camp Hill Mission BBQ to cater the rehearsal dinner for our daughter?s wedding this past weekend and I can?t say enough... good things about the entire event?from the food to the servers (Robin and Deb) to the decorative touches?everything was so muchmore than we expected! We had some guests from North Carolina that told us after the fact that they were ready to be quietlydisappointed in Pennsylvania BBQ but they were raving about the food by the end of the night!
