I have been a customer of Nyree’s since they had the location at Cameron & Market Sts. The food USED TO BE OUTSTANDING. But... the last three times I’ve ordered from this restaurant (at both the Camp Hill and Harrisburg locations) the food has not beengood. The food is so tasteless now. Definitely not the taste of soul food. And yes, food prices are out of control but we spent$45 on these two dinners. I am so disappointed. I had an issue previously when ordering online with them. I got a call thatthey did not have what I ordered and the young lady at the restaurant did “not know how” to cancel my order (since I alreadypaid) so I had to order something I did not want (which was terrible). While on a Business trip with my Husband we were looking for a place to eat near the Harrisburg Hilton in Pennsylvania. This... place didn't disappoint the food was fantastic & very reasonable. Those Yams outstanding!!. Read more
God awful experience. There was 2 customers in the building, Waitress took forever to bring food, saw our food window for 10... minutes. Our check supposed to be $34, waitress handed us a hand written tab for $50 and tried charging us $16 for water. Weasked for water and they gave us disani. I order from there on door dash a lot, I’ll never spend a dollar there. Add:definitely said of this to all of your employees and you on the phone as well. And would’ve said it to you in person. Recently decided to check out Nyrees and am quite happy in doing so. Fried chicken was perfectly cooked, the banana cream cake... was out of this world delicious, and everyone was so damn hospitable and nice. The owner (I'm assuming) was kind enough to talkcooking with us and offer us some of the pork they were smoking that weekend. Not a surprise, it was also delicious. Lookingforward to going back soon. The fried chicken wings were delicious! The candied yams and Mac&cheese were so good!! The staff are extremely friendly, and... welcoming. When we arrived there were only a few open seats and now we know why. The owner gave us a smoked pork chop sample andwhew! It. Was. Amazing! Delicious Baked Chicken(homemade BBQ sauce), Greens and sweet yams... southern flavors on point???? freshly pressed apple juice... and pineapple turnover cake???? This restaurant is amazing and makes me feel right at home. They have amazing food. The staff is great they do everything they... cane to make my time a positive experience. The food is amazing and cooked fresh daily. They have recently changes there hoursto 7 days a week and is striving to increase there menu. I love this place and recommend it to everyone Read more
Went Saturday night for drinks and dancing. What I found after paying a $20 cover charge was an almost empty second floor with a... mediocre dj and drinks served in the smallest plastic cups I have ever seen. Two drinks costed $27. Never again. Read more
