I live nearby and my kids go to the high school nearby. I've heard from numerous kids that almost all the workers in there are... very rude to the children. I'm not foolish enough to think that the kids are always nice either but there are two pizza shops inwalking distance, and I don't hear any stories about the other one. They have a policy that you have to buy something to eatthere, which is completely understandable, but I know many kids who have been yelled at and thrown out even when they do buysomething. Kids, vote with your feet and buy your lunch elsewhere! I haven't had great experiences there as an adult either, soI simply don't go there any more. Read more
Ordered off slice. after an hour of waiting (past the time they said it would be delivered) since i knew they would be busy, i... messaged slice only to find that my order was "delivered". after clear delivery instructions regarding confirmation of deliverydue to confusion with my address. and here we are. no dinner and utter disappointment in this company as they said that theorder was delivered and confirmed at the front door when someone picked it up and they would not reconcile. so no dinner for meand my family as someone got a stolen pizza. way to go Zag's Read more
Service was fast, owner was friendly, prices are really great! We got slices by the pie and they were nothing to write home... about. One was inedible because it wasn?t baked long enough and it was like eating raw dough ? not sure how they didn?tnotice. Mac and cheese appetizer was probably the best I?ve ever had. Clean restaurant. They carry lots of different menuitems which I did not try and would have liked to: soup, subs, wings, gluten free crusts, etc. They seem willing to makesubstitutions for anyone and flexibility counts for something! Just had delivery. Sub was decent. Bread is very soft. Wife liked her stromboli, especially the dough. Very reasonably priced...
Pizza was very good. The sauce was real nice. I had garlic knots that were very good. Soft and just enough garlic on them.... Prices are very good as well. The man taking my order could afford to smile. I walked in and his look was that of annoyance andhe looked miserable. Not what I want to see when I am paying for something. Read more
Amazing customer service and food to boot! I from out-of-state but I always prefer to support local establishments rather than... corporate ones. So I feel lucky to have stumbled across Zag's. I ordered the lasagna. It came with a house salad (delicious)and bread (exceptional). The lasagna was six layers of ooey, gooey goodness. It was obvious they used quality ingredients andtook great pride in preparing and presenting the food. To the owner, Moe, your staff on the evening of 10/19/2019, went aboveand beyond to make me feel comfortable and at home. Kudos to them - they did your business proud. I highly recommend Zag's!
