I thought the food and service was great. However, I am concerned that one young woman was working there alone last night. I... think for both safety issues and customer service, there should always be 2 people working. As I was in line, a couple came tothe door and were acting odd, he wasn't coming in, she was standing in the door talking quietly with him, he shined a flashlightin the window, and overall just didn't feel right. This is when it really hit me that she should have someone with her. Thecouple continued to hang around outside, even though it was dark and cold. This Subway is kind of tucked in and dark. The storenext to it is closed by then and no one would really notice if something happened unless they came in for service. I ended upstaying for awhile so she wasn't alone in the store and called the police to do a drive-by. I truly hope management makeschanges to their policies to make sure that all workers are treated respectfully, which includes safety and the ability tomanage multiple customers at the same time. Doesn?t accept any discounts. Only one worker during peak lunch hours so you?re waiting in line for at least 20 minutes.... Management/ owner needs to step it up. Read more
Won't let you eat inside despite advertising that you can. On the plus side, the workers at the Kirkwood Plaza Subway do a good... job making my sandwiches and being friendly. On the minus side, Subway's Campbell and San Jose restaurants falsely advertiseindoor dining. The Kirkwood Plaza Subway workers will not let you eat indoors. It's okay to not let people inside even afterJune 15, 2021, however it's illegal to falsely advertise otherwise. Subway marketing, be careful with your false claims!Sandwich eaters, go to a non Kirkwood Plaza location if you want to eat indoors, away from the 90-106 degree heat. Consistently very slow to get food. At lunch there is just one person making sandwiches even with a line out the door. Also no... Specials, always full price and the owner said Subway made them pull swiss cheese and milk off the menu. Owner is unpleasant. Read more
This is the cleanest, nicest run subway I have seen in years. The food line had scoops so the sandwich artists didn't have to... use their hands to scoop meat, everything was clean, the bathroom was spotless and well stocked, the sandwich I got tastedperfect. The soda fountain was very clean and the there was no mildew around the ice maker (a problem I've seen in unkemptstores) I was really pleased with my experience here. Read more
Typically, this is my preferred Subway in the immediate area especially when the young representative is providing his quick and... courteous service. This evening, I was unlucky and it started with a longer than usual wait, which I am willing to forgive.However, when the representative in her 30s reacted after I inquired about the promotional offer, the experience just wentdownward from that point. Overall, I enjoy Subway as the food is fresh and the value is good. However, when a representativedecides to sour the customer and also confront my cell phone usage in the store, then I will take my business elsewhere. I onlyhave limited negative experiences which one can see in my overall reviews. I feel compelled to call out bad service. This is the worst Subway I have been to just because of the customer service. The workers are really mean to you and don't care... about you. While you are trying to order the workers get distracted while talking to each other and you don't get your foodfast. The only good worker was this young man there. If you want Subway go to a different one you wont regret it. I wish I couldgo to the negatives with the ratings. Read more
