Best Italian restaurant I have been to in the Bay Area! Great service and their wait staff is knowledgeable and have a good... sense of humor. The dishes are artfully presented and their pasta is the perfect rendition of al dente texture! Their outdoorseating area is covered with patio heaters sitting close by. I have to say our waiter provides great service for our dinner with four people. he gave us a table in at the corner indoor with... privacy. All dishes are being served well. They made their own pasta noodles, however, not as tasty as I expected. Read more
Food was amazing and service was even better. I'm going to butcher the names so just using descriptors we got the pasta with the... sausage and the mushroom ravioli. Both were amazing. The pasta was a nice spice and the chutney swipe it came with was a greatcombo. The ravioli was so creamy and full of mushroom flavor. It also came with a smokey chipotle swipe and was also a greatpairing. I also got the Bruschetta specials appetizer, it was amazing and would get again and eat everyday. I got the specialsdrink as well I don't remember that name but it was like summer passion? Great refreshing taste of passionfruit, pineapple, andvodka. Amazing experience at Trattoria! Every dish is cooked to perfection, and we especially love the lobster pasta. The sauce is... packed with multiple layers of flavor, and the seasoning is great! Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants around. Read more
My second visit this restaurant and I can say that it is one of the best Italian restaurants in the bay. The food is seasoned... correctly, and the seafood is fresh. Their lentil soup with pork belly added is simply delicious without many frills. I wouldsay their cocktail is always so wonderfully made, and substituting it with top-shelf alcohol elevates the experience even more.It is perfect for a romantic evening or a night out by yourself the place is always very inviting. We celebrated our anniversary here.. it’s a cute place in a great location. The tables were a little small and it was loud... indoors. The food was good though, we ordered an appetizer from the specials, and shared a pasta and salad. They got us theirvanilla panna cotta on the house.. which was an amazing gesture! Classic and trendy Italian restaurant in a very trendy downtown. A lot of people enjoying the atmosphere and themselves all over... the area. Food was good but could be better. My salmon was on the dry side. Atmosphere was good. The most impressive aspect ofthe restaurant is its people -- especially our attendant who knew pretty much everything about the menu, including the wine.
