The garlic shrimps were fine, but the salmon was a little overcooked, what made it dry. Also the chipotle marinade, though being... fine itself, overrid the taste of the salmon too strongly. All in all the food was okay, but not up to the price level or theexpectations the restaurant set. Absolute treat in Campbell River! Super fresh seafood and excellent preparation coupled with incredibly friendly staff and... great service makes this a gem to not miss on Vancouver Island! First off, the menu is fantastic. Approachable fresh Frenchwith a great lens on local ingredients. We ordered mussels, escargot and rack of lamb and all were prepared perfectly and 100%delicious. Secondly, while being French inspired?. The menu leans heavily on local ingredients and some of the daily specialsreflect that. Thirdly, the staff is extremely welcoming, have great recommendations and overall make this a great restaurant toexperience. Lastly, the price points are fantastic- something for everyone and all budgets. We really enjoyed our dinner outto Harbour Grill and recommend this for foodies or just hungry folks alike! Read more

As an avid cook and someone who enjoys food and food culture I was a tad let down. The food was passable and not horrible but... also for the price point I felt that it missed the mark. I would also add that the service and serving staff is top notch andwe're incredibly pleasant and attentive. 17 dollars for 6 one inch cremini mushroom caps with some cream cheese, a bit of craband shrimp then some butter and gratin like cheese topping is outrageous. 20 dollars for 6 small to medium sized oysters - ofwhich some had shells that weren't cleaned properly - was also outrageous. The feature chowder was pretty good, I understandthat different people like different things in their England clam chowder so I won't get into that, but the broth was flavorfuland the portion of Halibut, clams and shrimp was reasonable. Best meal we've had in weeks. The service was on point, food came out quickly, and everything was crazy delicious. Mussels were... cooked perfectly, flavorful and tender. The halibut was very subtle (meant in the best way), and crème brûlée was exquisite.My husband also enjoyed the seafood gratin. Read more
