This location have a wonderful member. 1361 16 Ave, Campbell River, BC. Her name is Lainie. She welcomed me and was very... considerate to me. I work for Skip The Dishes and most McDonald's treat us like a leech but Lainie was different. She changed mythinking and I now know that there are decent and wonderful people that works there. She opened the delivery door for my SkipThe Dishes pick up because she felt that it was too cold. What a wonderful person. No other workers has treated me like that. Read more

We came to this McDonald's for a quick meal- we waited quite a while for our food in the empty dining room, were missing items... that we had to go back and ask for, the diet coke was out of syrup, the fries were cold, and the highchair wasn't clean. Then,as we were eating our food after waiting we were informed that the dining room is closed at 7:00 which seems awfully early. Notmy favorite McDonalds. Read more
40 minutes ago, My kids went up to McDonald's , ordered 4 meals and got 3. When they got home and called, the woman was... argumentative and demanding the receipt information. We were not given a receipt, she said we were lying, she puts a receiptin every bag! And hung up. Nobody would answer when I called back. 1st of all we have 4 people to feed, so we ordered 4 mealsnot 3, and paid for 4! There was no receipt given, or oder # on the bag, and being aggressive with a teenager on the phone isridiculous. People should get what they paid for and this particular McDonald's has a horrible reputation for taking the paymentbut not giving you everything. Read more
I am not a frequent customer at my local McDonald's or any McDonald's for that matter .I seem to have an issue each time I do... however. I hadn't sat down in a McDonald's in well over a year possibly 2 before Covid made dining non existent. I have usedthe app the last 2 times I went because it seems to have decent deals. I had to use my Visa Debit in order to place my ordervia App to get those deals unfortunately and I wanted to use cash. When I got to the menu speaking with the employee in orderto give my code I asked if that was possible The employee was polite and told me they had to check I also had ordered a PeachPassionfruit Smoothie substitution for my Drink and the upcharge was $.50 for a small and the Medium $1.30 extra. I thoughtthose numbers were a bit strange in comparison to the size, but what do I know? Especially compared to an entity like the*Golden Arches aka McDonald's I noticed a Coffee Frappe on the menu board so I asked if I could please add one . I was told no sorry the machine had already been cleaned . I also inquired about the Chai being the same machine and yes it was so I wasdriving to the next window and it dawned on me that the other smoothie must be unavailable as well . Sure enough same thing so Ihad to switch to Fruitopia . Next issue. I had to ask about the extra charges and I was told that they couldn't refund me atthis point so he took down my first name and instructred to notify staff for the next time and they would get me the MediumPeach Passionfruit Smoothie. I had already been upcharged for So all that from one order of one Value Meal for one personaround 11pm. Oh I forgot to mention the fries were cold , limp , and greasy !! The breakfast sandwich was ok. The capachino was the worst coffee, it tasted burnt. Will bot get their coffee again Not sure why... it was so bad, their coffee used to be pretty good. Read more
My partner and I frequently come here for ice cream but tonight it was different. When we got home, the ice cream looked very... yellow and tasted off. The ice cream seems to be not mixed correctly and it?s very icy and not very creamy. We also noticed thatinstead of filling the cone and then putting the cone in the cup they just filled the cup, and then dropped the cone on top. Weordered 4 ice creams and they were all like this.
