Went here with my wife and a good friend for dinner. We were surprised how open they were to us bringing our 6 month old puppy... along (dog friendly Bistro!) the food was amazing, presentation was even better. The chef had used hand made kadai for thebutter chicken which was a nice touch, after out meal he came out to have a nice chat. They put a lot of love into their dishesand it really shows. Very nice Bistro in a historic building right along the river. There is an outdoor seating area. There is a very nice menu with... many choices. They also have an excellent choice of wine and beer. The food is fresh and well prepared. The layout of therestaurant makes you feel not crowded, and also makes it wheelchair friendly for any that might need the extra space. I had a wonderful experience getting take out from the Dockside Bistro. My order was placed ahead of time and was warm and ready... when I showed up to take it home. Service was friendly and helpful as I added a couple of dockside ale tall cans to my order. Iordered a caesar salad and tortellini with garlic bread and sliced sausage. The portions were plentiful as this lasted me fortwo nights but I could have finished it in one night because it was all very flavourful. The tortellini were larger than I?mused to seeing at other establishments, which I enjoyed, and it had a nice, creamy sauce. Read more
I have visited Dockside Bistro a few times already. It is fast becoming one of my favorite places to eat at or to take... out. Their meals are always fresh there is generous portions, beautifully decorated and as a bonus the owners stop by to visitsthe guests. The atmosphere in this place is really nice and it has its own parking. The decoration, the location, the deliciousfood, the friendly service and the lovely looks of the plates, make this place a MUST when you visit Campbellford in TrentHills! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! My husband and I enjoyed a lovely evening out with our family at The Dockside Bistro. The restaurant is bright, beautiful and... welcoming with friendly staff to serve you. We started with the tandoori chicken bites and mini potato cakes for our appetizers,and they were fantastic!! (I don't like spicy food, but I enjoyed both of these with some ice water....a little bit of heat, forsure). For our entrées, we enjoyed the Roast Beef with Red Wine, the T-bone Steak, the Clucking Good Sandwich, and the StuffedPeppers. Everything was wonderful and the portions are very generous! This was my first visit here and I?d been given good recommendations about Dockside Bistro. I wasn?t disappointed !! I had the... Chicken Parmigiana on a bun with fries. Delicious !! ???????? The Chef came by to inform us of the Specials on today , all for$15. We sat on the patio which it?s quite wonderful. Thanks to Sandy and the staff ! Was there today with some relatives forlunch .
