I give one star. I wouldn?t have tipped 15% if I knew the service coming after. I?m from out of state and to pay over $20 per... person is typically worth good food and good service. We both ordered the pork chop plate and it?s supposed to come withroasted potatoes, toasted bread and corn. We didn?t get any potatoes because they ran out, over 2 hours before close. The porkchop was dry and the corn required special taste buds lol. I will say the toast is good. For breakfast. I don?t like that youorder, pay and tip as soon as you get here. Then you sit down and they bring you the food and that?s the end of the service. AsI stated for the price we paid for 2 plates , 2 drinks and 1 alcoholic beverage - we should?ve at least had the option to paythe tip following the service . This place is amazing. We stopped in at about 2pm on a Saturday after a "morning" of hiking. This is a great break spot. The... covered porch had a good cross breeze going through, all the staff were very friendly, and the food and beer was delicious. Ilove and really appreciate how everything was labeled on the menu for vegetarian, vegan, and dairy-free (dairy allergy here). Ihad the fried green tomato sandwich (vegan!) And my partner had the pork burger with honey chipotle bbq sauce on it and we bothhad the kettle chips. And of course we got a few beers All of it was so good. And we went back for ice cream. Waited in line for quite a while on a Friday night, but there were only 3 employees who were busting their butts. Drink... selections til kingdom come, but food options are a little limited. I can?t say enough good things about this place. The quality of food, beer selection, whiskey selection, cocktail selection,... staff, and atmosphere are all wonderful. The staff pick bourbon flight and the rye flight are both excellent, or you can createyour own whiskey flight. They?re always coming up with new and interesting food menu items. Taco Tuesday is great. Always greatvegan options; the vegan options were better than the non vegan tacos in my opinion. I can?t believe more people aren?t cominghere. Take a break from Miguel?s and Redpoint and have a bite and a drink at Hop?s. You won?t regret it. Climbers, don?t forgetto look up in the pavilion. This is a wonderful roadside restaurant past Natural Bridge! I feel they could be a little more organized and clear with their... signs and menu boards, but they are currently under minor construction, so this could be the reason. The food was very nice. Even on their "small menu wednesdays" there was a pretty solid selection of food and brews. I had the sausage burger with an egg... added and it was everything you could possibly want in a breakfast sandwich (for lunch). All the seating was outdoors and rightnext to a running creek. This made for a very relaxed and nice atmosphere. Read more
