A lot of negative reviews here are about the masks or vaccine requests. The food was simple and good, and while more expensive... that pre-C, not terribly costly. There was one person working (she was waiting, clearing, and cooking) and I still feltcompletely taken care of. It was very clean, no frills, friendly. And the many signs helping people be more thoughtful made mechuckle. If you want an old school diner feel this is the place for you. Read more
Major no. The owner of the diner is truly mean and, frankly, a bully. Aside from her cutting me and my family off while... speaking, she mocked my dads stutter while taking our order. The food was burnt. We went back and our food was sitting on thecounter, all of our orders, and the owner, passively kept it there, pushed it toward us slowly (we were at the counter), thenwhen we asked why she was doing that and not serving she said ?sorry, I didn?t notice.? That was after she on three occasionsover the course of two mins slid the plates just slightly closer to us. We didn?t feel comfortable getting up and going to takeour plates. Read more
VERY rude upon walking in! Spewing ?laws? to me about masks. There were only two people in the entire place. The inside was... dirty and dark. Went to Berkshire Country Cafe after leaving and no one had masks on and everything was clean and the food wasamazing!! The owner of the diner came out after I walked out the door continuing to spew things at me while I had my two smallchildren. Would NOT go back here and I will also tell people the same. Read more
Nice family owned place for regular towns people and travelers passing through. Owners are happy to converse. Breakfast is... served as long as they're open. Simple fare that's satisfying. Read more
Before covid this place was on our list of favorites when we were out that way but unfortunately that has changed. Owner was all... alone and obviously is afraid of covid... signs everywhere and she'll spout off rules about it... food while still good "likeyou make at home" has gone downhill from what it was and prices are up, apparently they are struggling to keep the door open.I'll still stop occasionally but won't go out of my way to do so.
