Always great food and service... The restaurant is always packed for those same reasons. The wait isn't usually too bad but... their take out quality of food is the same as if you were dining in; so we normally pick our food and enjoy it at home. Highlyrecommend Shades! Read more

Ordered takeout twice very good food both times I've ordered.
Dropping my 5 star review down to 2. Tonite we walked in at 8:05pm they close at 9. We were told "sorry, we did last call, we... stop letting anyone in an hour before close." Apparently that included food, kitchen. They were "happy to set up a to go order."Um, I thought the "kitchen closed at 8p". Will eat there again, their food is great. We did carry out everyone knows not to except the same quality food once you leave the restaurant and carry out. I was so... pleased with the taste and the quality of the food. The house salad with bacon is always my favorite the house made sauce isamazing. Tried something different tonight with Santa Fe quesadillas really, really good. Love Shades Read more
It is so much bigger inside than I imagined it to be. I was greeted by a friendly hostess. Serviced promptly by a very patient... server. Food came out in a reasonable time. I had a 1/4 lb burger and it was a little more charred then my liking. The friesreally stood out to me. Their prices are very reasonable and children's food choices were excellent. Read more
