Puddin' River Chocolates is a cottage shop, located in a neighborhood. Unbelievably, their namesake is an actual river, though a... most appropriate name for a shop slinging sweets too! The smouse (s'mores mouse) is worth a visit alone, and not only just toadmire its adorableness. Their marshmallow is perfection, complimented by graham, and though available in milk too, the darkchocolate keeps it from veering too sweet. They have prepackaged boxes, or you can select your own. Chocolates are $2.50 each,though I was able to nab a couple discounted Easter goodies when I visited just after that holiday. There are plenty of othertreats like peanut butter cups, coconut bars, chocolate bars, cookies, toffee, even wine and cheese fondue. There are only acouple parking spaces in the driveway right out front of the shop (the former garage for the house next door), but if theyfilled it would be easy to park along the street, too. Some of the best chocolate I?ve had in years. This is where you can really tell the difference between your typical ?Hersey?s?... packaging chocolate, and home made/HAND made chocolate.
