Can't tell you about the food because I never ordered. Apparently they don't take phone orders, you Are forced to go online and... order, very minimal descriptions and the online order process is ridiculous. You are automatically charged a dollar onlineordering fee and a gratuity is automatically added, really? I've been in food service for 40 plus years, this isunacceptable. It's a shame because the food sounds good. I will never eat here, your business model sucks. Read more

There was some confusion on my... bank?s side of the transaction, Danny went out of his way to look into my order. He took the time to learn my name and continuedto call me by name. Over the last couple visits I don?t know what has changed but it is not good. The ribs are coming burnt to the point they taste... bad. Today I asked if they could make them not burnt the way we used to get them all the time . They said yes and they cameburnt nasty!! And my hamburger steak was also burnt and that?s never come burnt before. Unless they can go back to making it theway they did like 8 months ago we will not be returning!!! It?s like charcoal burnt!! Great service. The workers were very friendly and thanked everyone for coming in. The plate serving sizes were very large.... Regrettably though, the food was not satisfying. One of us thought the macaroni salad was good and had a sweet flavor whileanother one of us thought it wasn?t very good. The kalua pork was tender and juicy but the flavor wasn?t great. The Char Siu hadvery little flavor. The Kalbi chicken was flavorless. The teriyaki chicken was just okay. There were lots of happy customersthere who seemed to be repeat customers. Great atmosphere, owner knows Hawaiian food. Pleasant to speak with and wonderful food. Would recommend for anyone to eat there.
