I wanted to reserve at the Greenfield park location but they were all booked so decided to give it a try here. First, they did... not want to serve sushi à la carte. They wanted us to take the tasting menu or the combos... ??? what is this way of doingbusiness for a small sushi take-out restaurant? After insisting, they accepted to take our order with a minimum of 35$ perperson if we order à la carte. What a rip off. We were with the kids so we did not have a choice. They were hungry...Theseafood miso soup was always subpar. They put small pieces of fish and shrimp cut up in small pieces ( felt like a leftoversoup). I had the seafood miso at Greenfield park a couple of weeks ago and it was not like this. I dont mind spending when I goout and eat but I dont appreciate paying for something I did not get. And, the service was extremely slow. Paid the bill, left15% tip and will not go back. You lost a customer for life. Read more
My husband and I order takeout from Uni Sushi in Candiac a few times a month. It is consistently good and friendly service, but... what I really find impressive is that they have never once made a single mistake on our order, never forgotten anything. Wow. Arrived a little before 11AM opening but the staff was ultra friendly and took care of me. Loved the decor, and found the... prices to be very reasonable. I had my order to go and it was quickly made fresh. It was simply delicious and fresh. Greatquality sushi with wonderful packaging. It?s the little extra touches that put it over the top. We had to go to the Candiac location after being told that the Greenfield Park had no availability for the evening. We decided... to take the detour because reviews were already great. I've had great sushi in many places around the world and I can say thatthis is some of the best sushi that I've had in a long time. You have to try the King and the Rainbow rolls. They'reincredible. Not only is the sushi great, but you can also bring your own wine. Service was great in English and in French. Ihighly recommend this place. Read more
