We stopped here to grab a bite to eat after hiking the Cape Split trail. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. The... deck overlooks the bay and the view is sublime. We?ve been traveling all over NS and this is my new favorite area to explore.Take the time to head this way if you are visiting and near Halifax. Have a beer here on the deck at sunset. My sister and I had just completed a long hike at Cape Split. we needed food but we had two dogs with us and we both have... dietary restrictions due to autoimmune conditions. Finding a restaurant can be a challenge. When we went in to ask about theirfood and ability to accommodate we found them to be SUPER friendly and accommodating. The patio is also dog-friendly with asuperb sunset view of the ocean. Good food, amazing view, dog-friendly and superb staff. I recommend taking the drive to getthere! Read more
We had lunch here today and as it was my first time visiting Scots Bay I had no idea what to expect. Safe to say it was wayyyy... beyond my expectations. Bright, clean, modern without being snobby. Exceptional service and the most delicious and fresh food. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view. Would love to come back for the dinner menu. Read more
What a find!!! We were looking for a place to eat dinner after we did the cape split hike. We found the Long Table Social Club... and WOW!!! The drinks were incredible. I had a mojito with mint that had just been picked from their garden! We had the pestopasta and a pizza. They were both incredible! The pizza was honestly maybe the best I?ve ever had! Cassidy was our server. Shewas extremely attentive and kind. The owner stopped by our table multiple times as well. Honestly top three of restaurants I?veever dined at! What an amazing place to stop and have lunch. I had the pleasure of sitting on their deck and enjoying a coffee and a sandwich... yesterday. The staff are very welcoming and the Turkey and Brie sandwich, with the mango chutney, was sensational. I?m inlucky enough to be in this part of the world again I will drive here for sure. They have a beautiful view of the coast. The food was really good I had grilled cheese with bacon. There is also a cool deck... for outside dining. The surrounding countryside viewed from the deck is incredible! Read more
The service here is very friendly and the view is just about the best you can get on a very well appointed patio overlooking... Scott's Bay. The burgers and salads are very good- you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but the house made deserts arefantastic, especially the waffles. This is definitely worth checking out after a hike or for dinner with a view. The ownerRobin is also very friendly and committed to improving the area and serving locals and visitors alike. Read more
