Yum - this was the best meal we had on the Oregon Coast by far! Making a reservation was difficult. We had to call and leave... messages and wait for a call back but we finally got one and were seated with no issues. No complaint about the staff or theatmosphere, both were great! I loved the decor and architecture in here. Definitely different than what we found at otherrestaurants along the coast. We started with the Korean Braised Crispy Pork Belly, which was amazing. It came with a adelicious slaw and jasmine rice combo. For dinner, I got the Salmon, which was fresh caught and had a light chardonnay sauce.It was on top of a bed of rice that was also delicious but notably different than the appetizer. My girlfriend got the linguine,which was fairly plain but cooked to perfection. It's kind of on her for getting a somewhat bland option. For dessert, we gothousemate hazelnut ice cream (which was BETTER than the Tillamook we had earlier that day) and the Key Lime Creme Brûlée. Thecreme brûlée was not spectacular but I'm not a huge creme brûlée fan anyway. If you can swing it, definitely try thisplace. It is not cheap and it was not easy to get in, but it was delicious. WOW. What an experience. This place pulled out all the stops and their plating was amazing as well. We got the Caesar salad and... the Bistros twist on clam chowder, which I must say is full of seafood and delicious. We had the halibut which melted in yourmouth like butter and was perfectly done for our first entree. From there we tackled the linguini which was also to die for. Wonderful little bistro tucked into the bustling Cannon Beach main street. It’s cozy and classy and the food is delicious and... expertly prepared by Chef Jack, with the front of the house run by partner JJ (who is lovely and welcoming rom the moment youwalk in the door). We had tasty cocktails, crab cakes and fig & beet salad to start, halibut and cioppino for mains, crèmebrûlée for dessert. It was a completely lovely evening! First time we’ve been there but we will be back and we’re tellingour reindeer they must eat here too! Make a reservation. They were packed the night we dined there and we can see why. Read more

This place is absolutely the real deal. I called ahead a couple of days to make a reservation for 2 to celebrate our 5 year... anniversary. JJ was kind enough to have a bouquet of flowers at the table with a “Happy Anniversary” sign for us. They evenput candles in our dessert! They truly made the night much more special and memorable. Both of our meals were CLEARLY carefullythought out and expertly executed. Chef Jack has a vision for what he wants coming out of that kitchen and it shows. This washands-down the best meal either of us have had since moving here to Oregon a little over three years ago. Truly one of thoserare meals where there’s never enough bites left on the plate and each one is better than the last. If you are ANYWHERE nearCannon Beach, do yourself a favor and grab a meal here. Chef Jack curates a thoughtful and delicate menu. The hostess, JJ, makes every moment from seating through dessert make you feel... warm and unique. Their combined gift for hospitality almost makes you forget how incredible the food is. Hats off to Chef Jackand his culinary skill. The chowder was packed with flavor. The Caesar was enchanting in design and the hidden Parmesan custard.The seafood linguini was sensational and perfectly balanced. I've been to Cannon Beach many times and not discovered The Bistro until this time. Had dinner with a friend and we really... enjoyed the meal and the welcome from the host JJ, the cook Jake and our waiter Tran. We were brought fresh bread and herbybutter which I love. There's a good selection of apps but we both started with salads. My friend had a novel Caesar with aParmesan crisp and Parmesan custard. I'm usually indifferent to Caesar but it was good. She enjoyed it too. I had the beet andfig salad. The apple and maple dressing was yummy. My friend had the Halibut special and I had the Ahi Tuna with seaweed salad.Both were cooked perfectly and tasty. We were cajoled into dessert and had Saffron Cheesecake. On November 6th, 2021, my wife and I traveled from Texas to get married in the beautiful Cannon Beach area. Planning a reception... while far away can be a challenge but Jack and JJ were so kind, supportive, and flexible in the planning process of using theirlovely establishment after the wedding. They made us feel welcomed and were so kind to us and our families. The food was by farthe best we have ever had! They offered a wide selection of foods for our reception. We hope to be able to visit them again sometime in the future! Read more

Everything was perfect. We walked in right at open without a reservation and they were able to accommodate us. The service was... wonderful, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was right where it needed to be. I got to overhear the chef have aconversation that included his dessert. Which was a cheesecake with chocolate Gamache and an apple gelee. Every part of ourmeals were savored in delicious bites. I admit being skeptical to the Vietnamese caramel chicken, but it was flavorful in thebest amount of way with the fish sauce, to the presentation and especially the slaw topping seasoned and complimented with thebest ingredients.
