Stopped here as part of an Adventure Lab (check out the app, it's great, especially if you like fun activities that you can do... solo or as a family), for the Goonies movie. We came on Thanksgiving, and expected to be the only ones, but there were actuallyquite a few people visiting and getting pictures of the King Tides. Hands down one of the most beautiful places I've EVER been. Will definitely be going back to explore the trails in the park! Read more

Incredible beauty and colors. Accessible at low tide and we were there when the sun was declining. We were blown away by these... rocks and the preservation around it. We saw sea stars, anemones, crabs?there are preservation volunteers or employees who watchthe area and answer questions. We were very grateful for them as people were trying to climb and touch everything stomping onmarine wildlife and hurting this sensitive environment. Spent a good time being given information about puffins and their lifecycle, anemones? The clouds and mist around these rocks made it magical. We learn a lot and were so happy to see this areapreserved. Read more

The starfish, anemones and shellfish were a surprise at low tide. This was a very cool spot to experience and I have to give... the City of Cannon Beach its due props. By roping off the sensitive areas and having some knowledgeable young ladies keepwatch, this unique place will continue to be super fun and preserved. Read more

The Haystack rock is a spectacular Natural wonder which is as majestic as the Pacific Ocean itself! The beach is beautiful and... is a great place to take long strolls. There are lot of Sea gulls here and it's a great time pass watching them. Would like tocome back here to catch the Sunset in this backdrop. Parking was a bit tricky here although it was not too crowded. Read more

Went in early June and the weather was great. Parking was a little confusing, we ended up just stopping on a nearby road and... walking down but was only a 5 minute walk! The beach itself is beautiful and I loved that there were wildlife safety attendantswho made sure to keep people off of the rocks and to help us spot animals! Cannon Beach was just down the road with a bunch ofcute shops and restaurants to walk in. Loved all of the flowers in bloom. Read more

Beautiful beach. No litter (keep it that way!) And very dog friendly. Always windy, and always chilly. But beautiful and great... for long walks on the beach. At low tide the volunteers that come out to keep people off the rock are amazing. They can teachyou all about the wildlife that desperately need the safety of the rock to be protected. Read more

Make the time-Go! You won't regret it! We drove down from Seattle, had lunch in Astoria and then to the beach for a few hours in... afternoon before heading to Portland Perfectly set up for tourists there's public bathrooms right near the Wayfarer restaurant.Which someone else mentioned on trip advisor is a great place to park and enter and I have to agree! I could spend HOURS here???????? Definitely wear easy to wash off shoes as it's impossible to not get sandy and dirty. Read more

This place is unreal. There is plenty to see and explore. Really well kept and organized. There was a person there employed by... the city to make sure everything went well and she was absolutely fantastic. Her name is Angela and she keep things undercontrol while pointing out all the things to see and helping tourist not step on all the living organisms. She was great. I lovethis place. We spent quite a bit of time there and I am blown away by the experience. 5 stars for sure and a must see! Read more
