Do not, do not, do not, get an espresso drink! Me: Do you have a real espresso machine? Waitress: Yes. It's a pod machine. ... I... wanted a drink so I got a cappuccino. How bad can it be? Turns out? It is the worst espresso I've had in my entire life. I couldnot even finish it. It was the most burnt gross flavor, something I didn't think would be possible from a machine. So sohorrible. I didn't even get any other coffee, couldn't trust the quality. The food was fine. French toast with strawberries wasjust ok. Pancakes with blueberries were better. The bacon was clearly cooked in a frying pan until it was as crisp and crunchyas possible, and I like crisp bacon but I didn't like this. Oven cooked is a much cleaner flavor. I wouldn't go back. Busy time when I visited. But friendly servers and good pancakes. Dig in like piglet. Was good.
It was busy when we arrived but it didn't take long to be seated. Our waitress was nice and checked on us throughout the meal.... But it did take a little with service because they were busy. The food was great. We had chicken fried steak skillets, friedshrimp and my little one had chicken nuggets. Everything was great. The shrimp nice and fresh. The clam chowder is definitelyworth trying. If you're looking for a nice place to take your family or just for a good bite to eat, this is your place. Read more
Very good breakfast, and good service. No cheap breakfasts, but the prices were reasonable given how expensive everything is in... Cannon Beach. Unlike most tourists, I don't have money to burn, or a money tree back home. I spent an extra buck to havesourdough pancakes instead of boring buttermilk. I won't do that again. Give me boring buttermilk every day. I don't get theappeal of sourdough cakes. I like sourdough bread, so I should have enjoyed the pancake version. Wrong. A buck saved is a buckearned. I don't know how they manage to make thick cut bacon so crispy yet so tender. Best bacon in town. My husband always gets their... crab eggs Benedict with fruit and I get the bacon and eggs. Their sourdough pancakes are fantastic too Read more
Service was fast and friendly. We here seated and had our drinks in no time. Our orders where delivered quick, and fresh off the... grill. My second order of bacon was also wonderful and quickly delivered to the table. The bathroom was just cleaned and smellednice. Wish I could have given them 6 stars. Fast service, food came out quick, and they kept our coffee cups full! The country fried chicken scrambler and the sourdough... pancakes were delicious; generous serving sizes served on Corelle (type) plates made it feel very much like home! The 80?smusic was a fun touch. Read more
Not only was the staff absolutely fantastic, the food was great too. My crab eggs Benedictine was a first for an East Coast girl... and I was not dissapointed. Not sure if it's because we were Canadian and patient but the staff kept apologizing for a delaybut we found the service to be phenomenal and very rapid. Might I suggest to try to add some Canadian Maple Syrup ???? to thebreakfast menu? I would have definitely gone with the Crepes had this been an option ?? That being said, no regrets here!
