Great food, and great experience. We sat on the deck for dinner after walking the beach. The air was a bit chilly, but the staff... were prepared with blankets for those who wanted them. We started with the civeche which was good but could have used a dashmore jalapeno. Main course included the clam cake and the risotto which were both fantastic. The vegetables on the risotto werecooked just right to still leave crunch and texture in them, and the pork belly was perfect. We finished with the fosters breadpudding which was simply great. Overall, we would certainly recommend this spot for dinner, just be sure to call ahead for areservation! Read more

Really really really enjoyed this restaurant. We came on a Wednesday night with a party of 5 and had to wait about half an hour... for a table - so if you don’t want to wait and especially if you are going on a weekend I would recommend making areservation. Once we were seated everything was lovely. Great service, beautiful views of the water, lovely interior. There wasa nice selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. For my meal I had the risotto with vegetables and pork belly and it’s one of myfavorite meals to date. My partner had the salmon which was also great. I wish I could have one more bite of the fingerlingpotatoes! If we are ever in the area again I would love to come back - it was a great option for a nicer evening out. Read more

This popular restaurant in Cannon Beach is a special place. On clear days there is a magnificent view of the water. My... pineapple mule was a good choice. Portions are hearty and tasty. Hadn't had short ribs in ages and far more than I couldeat. It is also a fun place to go for brunch. Reservations are a must. Read more

The atmosphere and service was outstanding. We could see Haystack Rock from our table during sunset. Ordered the shrimp... ceviche and it was a heaping helping of seafood goodness, pretty close to the best I've had. The "clam bake" was much more thanjust that. When my friends and I recently visited Cannon Beach, we went to this restaurant to grab some lunch. I got the Clam Chowder... followed by the grilled chicken sandwich (pictured). The clam chowder was delectable, while I found the chicken sandwich to bemissing something. I’m not quite sure what exactly it was missing - perhaps a house-made sauce to invigorate my taste buds.Also, I generally prefer the greens on the sandwich be on both halves of a sandwich so other condiments and chicken juicesdon’t seep into the bread and make it soggy. If you're looking for a great seafood restaurant, The Wayfarer is the place to be. When we first arrived we were seated next to... a promo photo shoot and was moved to a very nice window booth with a awesome view of the beach. Our server Eric was outstandingand made sure we were comfortable in the dining area. We ordered The Seared Local Salmon and the Wayfarer Clam Bake. Both platescame out hot and full of Deliciousness. Loved the food and atmosphere. We will definitely be next time we visit from Phoenix AZ. Read more

Great spot by cannon beach. Food was great. Wait staff very friendly and courteous. Clam chowder was very good and the fish &... chips spot on. Prices are reasonable as well. Definitely worth stopping in and getting lunch while enjoying cannot beach. Read more

Excellent food! Both dishes my partner and I had were superb. Cinnamon bun French toast - yes! Views of the beach and rocks from... the restaurant are likewise very good. Had parking too, which was nice. Bar area looked to have very comfortable seating. Staffwas courteous and efficient. Read more
