I have been going here since they opened and it was very good at first but it has gradually gotten terrible. Two of us got the... same meal but one was charged 3.00 more than the other. The service was really none other than take our orders drop off our foodand bring us our bill. The beans were like soup, the rice cold and the chimichanga that were supposed to be deep fried weremerely soggy with grease. We couldn’t even complain because no one came back to check on us. Such a decline in quality of food. We ate there Tuesday evening with our daughter and grandchildren. Left most of the food... uneaten. Grandson’s burrito served with enchilada sauce.. asked for replacement chicken quesadilla. It came swimming in juice.Both were uneatable. Our server was inattentive and seemed irritated. $75 later, what a let down, waste of $ and left hungry andunsatisfied.. He kept asking of wet wanted to go boxes. We said no thank you. Next ask my husband said no, it’s not good. Noreaction other than giving us the bill. We enjoy Los Arcos in Rochester and have previously enjoyed an occasional meal at CannonFalls location. Food was amazing, hot, fresh, and served quickly. I chugged my drink down and didn't receive a refill for around 10 minutes. No... big deal. Ordered guac on the side, never received it but didn't pay for it either. Service was meh, but could have beenworse. If you love good food, this establishment is a must stop. Read more
We went on recommendation of a close friend. He raves about this place. We mostly had a good experience, some of our group... thought it was very good. But, my wife's taco salad was watery, the beans were like soup, and it was supposed to bevegetarian, yet there were two pieces of chicken in it. She said the peppers weren't seared at all, they seemed like they werejust warm. In addition, the iced tea was horrible. It had a strong chemical taste. We sent them back and ordered a soft drinkinstead. We might give it another chance, but there are more consistent options out there. Read more
It can be hit or miss with these guys. One time they served the most amazing fajitas and burritos wrapped in bacon. Probably one... of the best Mexican meals I've ever had. Big portions, food is very good Mexican-American fare. They have a large drink menu, also very nice. Overall a pretty good... place. Another 20-30 minute drive to West St. Paul will get you better authentic Mexican food but for the location andconvenience, this place is pretty good all around.
