Canon City Mugs is a very good place to go for either breakfast, drinks, dinner or all of the above. The service was good, the... food really tasty which was probably the reason why the place was packed. You can eat in the bar area the less loud dining room.We started withthe Buffalo wings which were awesome and had the bruschetta chicken sandwich for the entree. The sandwich wasamazingly good. Overall, the menu has a nice selection for any palate. I recommend checking Mugs out. Read more
We were just stopping in Cañon City for one night and tried to go to Chili's but they were packed. We ended up going to Mugs... and I am so glad that we did. The service was phenomenal and Sarah, our waitress was helpful and super friendly. My husband andI both had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with sweet chili sauce. I could not recommend this sandwich enough. My husband had thefries and I had the onion rings and let me tell you, those were probably the best onion rings I've ever had. If we lived inCañon City, we would definitely frequent Mugs. Unfortunately we don't but next time we are in the area we will be back. Read more
Really a good place to get breakfast. I was looking for somewhere other than the chain type restaurants and took a chance on... this place. The breakfast burrito had a generous amount of meat, not just a potato filler like other places. I really liked thegreen chili. They aren't out to win the prize if who can burn your mouth the fastest and hottest. This chili has a little spiceto it but is actually very good. Flavorful and really adds to the overall taste of the food. Just a couple of suggestions:First, the tortilla was tough to cut into so it needs to be moistened a little. Second, the kids pancakes shouldn't be one largecake but instead, a few smaller ones. I would recommend this place and we will be back. Read more

We are surprised by the quality of food, because of the prices. But it was really good. They have gluten free buns and... boneless wings with gluten free batter. If you need that. I had the pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries and everythingwas really good. The BBQ sauce was a bit on the spicy side ( I loved it) so if a kid gets this they may need extra water orbutter. My son had a grilled chicken sandwich. And my daughter tried their burger. All very good! Service was on point,checking in on us just enough. It's cute inside and they do brunch really well we're told, so we'll be back to try them out forthat as well. Read more
