It was a decent atmosphere , enjoyed a few items on the menu , since im no longer there I think I have freedom of speech to tell... my experience here for starters my last day there got 2 burgers the one I wanted to try and was recommended try was theChattahoochee burger I couldn't even eat it because of it being burned and looked dried I didn't even try to take a bite out ofit and for about 14 bucks worth worth it. The food was good for the most part, we had three entrées: wings, salmon and the nachos. The winds were cold you could tell as... soon as they were came out that they weren't fresh. As soon our party of 6 walk in we are told that because we have a baby and we need a high chair, we are limited to where we can... sit. We ask for a booth because it?s easier for our party with 2 toddlers plus a baby to manage. After we sit at a booth, themanager tells us we need to move to a table in the middle of the dining room for their convenience. We explained our needs forthe booth and his reply is the fire Marshall only allows 1 high chair for a booth for the whole restaurant. WTH, really? We moveand our server takes 25 minutes to come and take our drink order. Our food finally came out and it was okay but our dinner wasdifficult to enjoy due to our seating. Well i went here for a birthday lunch and our waiter was nice at first we asked her for our check and we did but we really... needed to go and my husband walked up to a waiter and asked if he could pay and they said no. Our waiter had to do it. Ok noproblem. We had left her a 12 tip on our table for our $35 order. Which is a good tip based on percentage. So at this point wehad left the table while she was doing the card transaction. I had left to wait outside when she ask my husband for a tip. Shetold him in a ride way like, where is my tip. It was okay. We started off with the eggrolls, wings and cheese dip which was really good. The eggrolls were the star. The wings... were okay. We ordered chicken nachos and the chips came on the side, which I LOVED because I hate soggy chips but there wasalmost no meat in the cheese bowl on the side. It was all cheese, I had to return my food. I would come again, just ordersomething different. The burger was great and the wings and pretzel bites were really good. We will come back. I know times are tough but a good burger doesn?t have to be. I enjoy a great tasting burger and this was not one of them. When a... server tells you they don?t cook to order but only one way that isn?t a good sign. Also the amount of mustard was too overpowering. The Queen and I stopped at Taco Mac on Sunday while we where out in the area. There was a 30 minutes wait, which they text you... and let you know your order is ready, so I liked that. 30 minutes to kill, good thing there is a Target and Best Buy right nextdoor. So the wait was a breeze. I planned on buying dog food at Pet Smart next door anyway. I'm not the biggest Covid person,but I DO respect those who do. So rest easy knowing they still keep social distancing at tables and booths. The cleanliness wasup to par as well! Our waitress checked on us enough to show she cared. But not enough that it was annoying. All our drinks andfood came out on a timely manor and we had no issues with anything. We got the large quaso and chips with 10 sweet/spicy takiakiwings to share. My girl and I both got street tacos ( chicken for her and steak for myself). I'm not sure if corn tortillas arean option (I didn't see it) but they do come on a flour tortilla if you at least don't say anything. In my opinion even with aflour tortilla, they where pretty good! I'd have liked more spicy, but I am sure I can ask for that next time. I like to orderit how's it's made my first try and adjust from there. All in all it was a pretty nice experience! Taco Mac is my favorite place to go for a big juicy really good hamburger now. I've been going to this Taco Mac for years.... Always good food the place is always clean the bathrooms are always fairly clean, the staff is nice. First service this day waskind of off. I don't know what the guy's problem was but somebody else did most of his job. He reeked of cigarette smoke when hedid come to greet us. It was a medium pace but not busy at least before the football game so he didn't get a very good tip.Overall still a good meal. Read more
