Food was mostly pretty good. It was seven of us and we had the scallops, ribeye, ribeye & ribs, seared tuna, bubbly shrimp,... spinach dip, lobster dip, salmon, chicken sandwich and chicken pasta (not tasty & dry????). Each entree came with 2 sides....thegreen beans & mac & cheese were a hit with my party. The service was absolutely magnificent! Our waitress was 21 years old(Sophie) and we never waited too long for anything! She made great recommendations, made sure our allergies were addressed, ourdrinks were filled consistently and whenever we asked for anything she was "on it!" We made sure her tip reflected the greatservice she provided.... she even said it was too much. We definitely will be returning and asking for Sophie as our server eachtime!!! Read more

Pros: *The food was delish! We had the shrimp, steak and sausage! And the artichoke dip appetizer was amazing! The best I've... had! *Drinks good *Enjoyed the rock cooking experience. Cons: * Need better ventilation, the smoke eventually was getting tome. * The Floor is super slippery from the cooking, almost slipped and fell, and I watched others slipping on the floor,( Iexperienced none of these issues at the location in Novi.) * THE WORST ONE FOR ME WAS THE GNATS!! We spent more time swattingthe gnats away and that really made me want to leave, just the thought of them landing on my food. * If you are a managerreading this, please fix this, We spent a good amount of money there and should not have had to fight gnats. First time coming here. Didn?t like the whole ?cook yourself ? the steak didn?t really have flavor and was tough. Don?t think I... will return. But on the plus side. Never had breaded ribs before and that was awesome. They were really good. The house saladwas good as well as the mash potatoes. This was our first time at Black Rock Bar & Grill. We came because of a promotion we found on Facebook. Buy one, get one, 12oz... sirloin steak! That seemed like a great deal! The place was busy, which is always great to see! We put our names in the queueand were told there was a 30-minute wait, not too bad! So we went to the bar and found a couple of seats. The bartender wasbusy, but she was attentive. After supplying us with a drink menu, my wife ordered a martini, and I got a draught beer. Bothwere good, but the martini was not what she was looking for. I ordered a second beer and my wife a different cocktail. Momentslater, a text message told us that our table was ready. The service was terrible, and my French onion soup had no onions init! The bottom line is that the next time we want to go out for steaks, we?ll go elsewhere. Read more

Very nice restaurant. Loved the outdoor space. Great appetizers. And a great strawberry apple salad that was amazing! If * ever... go on a diet that salad would be a great meal.
