I've been here multiple times. The food is good except for the rude waitress Linda this time. In the past the nice waiters and... waitresses always help with the hotpots(enforcing 18%tips). This time the waitress just rudely threw some food into the pot andnever came back to help with the water, sauce or adding food to the pot. One piece of meat she threw even got stuck on the edgeof the pot which is disgusting. Later we even ran out of water that can be added to the pot so that the soup became extremelysalt before we asked another waitress for help. We have to do everything by ourselves so the taste is not as good as last timewhen a nice waitress help us to control the ratio of sauce and water. I won't choose to come here again due to the bad service,making my dinner extremely unhappy. Read more
Great Izakaya style restaurant that also does pretty premium sushi as well. Had the Katsudon and a nice big Futo Maki roll. All... came out tastey and hits the spot. Place has been around for years and years now and has held up its quality very well. Highlyrecommended. Read more
They?re busy and don?t have enough staff, so it?s a bit slow, band the sashimi wasn?t really fresh. But everything else was... good. The shabu was excellent, with the duck meat. Nice restaurant with a good selection of all kinds of Japanese cuisine. We got the yakitori, agedashi tofu, ultimate roll combo,... soft shell crab, Tori karaage for party of 4. Filled us up really well. On top, we got 2 dessert to split: green tea cheesecakeand creme brulee. Delicious! Food served up super fast and service was great! Read more
New to the area and just happened upon this restaurant. It?s in an unassuming strip mall and doesn?t look like much from the... outside, but once we entered , it was packed on a weeknight, which is a great sign! We ordered variety of rolls plus a deliciousBento box. I would?ve liked the cucumber roll better without the peel, but everything else was fabulous. The server was adorableand so sweet. * Update as of February 2022 Since moving to Plymouth in November, this has become our favorite Asian restaurantin the area. Wide selection of sake and excellent selection of sashimi. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. The Ramen broth and... meat tasted great but the noodles could have been better. Would still recommend you check this place out! Read more
Absolute favorite!! It?s hard to find such an authentic restaurant in the Midwest but they did it :) duck hotpot is their MUST... TRY, probably the only legitimate hotpot place you can get here. Staff are also all well-trained and so nice!! Read more
