Good restaurant. Don't let the gas station location fool you. Good food for a quick lunch break. Portions were enough for lunch... and Dinner after work. (However, Kam Loon in Ridgeland still the benchmark for chinese in the Jackson metro In my opinion. ) Read more

Ordered black pepper chicken. Tasted like General chicken that had been blackened to burnt, rather than chicken seasoned with... black pepper. The burnt taste from the chicken permeated the fried rice, as well. I couldn?t eat it. I ordered my son plain lomein. They really mean plain- no onion, celery or other complimentary veggies typically found in ?plain? lo mein. Just noodlesand soy sauce. But honestly, that?s the only reason I?m giving 2 stars- my son liked the noodles. Read more
Prior to this visit, I have eaten at Bamboo express several times and each time it was really good. I ordered sesame chicken,... plain fried rice, cream cheese wontons and chicken wings. My food was horrible...the rice was dry and hard, the sesame chickenwas rubbery as if though it had been re warmed or something. The chicken wings were not seasoned. I am not sure if they havechanged cooks or their recipes but I utterly disappointed. Read more
We were really shocked people wrote such glowing reviews after our experiences at this location. Its obvious folks in area have... never had "decent" or even "good" Chinese food. I beg to differ with so many that think deep fried meat nuggets, no vegetables,and bright red sauces or brown gravy is Chinese food! We ordered dinner over the weekend and for the second time it was theworse thing we ever had from a take out. The chicken in our dishes was spongy and felt like it had been soaking in water. Thesauces in two very different menu items had zero flavor, zero. The egg rolls were mushy and tasteless. The price was good forthe quantity but all we did was wash it down the garbage disposal after two bits. It was not worth driving back and returningit. Never again. Read more

Outstanding food and service. Excellent value for the money. Bring your appetite though. I?m a big eater and ordered the... black pepper chicken lunch special. I wound up going home with food. The black pepper chicken was phenomenal by the way. Willdefinitely be going here often. Read more
Food was so horrible we spent 66$ dollars for some nasty food for the restaurant too just open at 10:30. Called too tell them... they was very rude. Man said he don?t understand how it was nasty if u a Chinese food type of person you?ll know good foodquality. As you can tell I even tried eating it but couldn?t even do it. The fried rice had a smell like sour mixed with burntsmell. Hope no one else spends their money on this garbage food. Read more
