I went there on a Saturday night with a large gathering of friends... We were never without a beverage and everybody's food came... out warm and at the same time...And delicious. Our server never missed a beat. Then after dinner we went out to the patio wherethere was a DJ, a trivia contest, a little dancing and lots of fun! I highly recommend this restaurant. Read more
The food was good. You get a lot for what you pay for. The meal in front of me was not even $11 and it was about three meals in... and of itself. The guacamole was probably the best guacamole I have ever had in my life. They have a guacamole cart that theypush over to you and make your guacamole fresh in front of you. I had never seen anything like that before. We went at kind ofan off time on a saturday. I will say the service was VERY lackluster, and I'm a very patient person when it comes to thatbecause I was a server for 25 years. I'm not sure if it's just because of who was working or because it wasn't very busy, butI'm not sure if I would go back just because of that, that's how long we had to wait for everything. Refills. Our check. Boxes.It did seem kind of ridiculous because there was only maybe two other tables in there at the time we were there. Maybe it wasjust a bad day for them, I don't know. Tonight was our first visit to Don Tequila Mexican Grill. And I'm sure we will be regulars since we just moved into the... neighborhood. The food was phenomenal! Between the 3 of us we had al pastor (pork) street tacos, the burrito California andthe Ohio State burrito. All were very flavorful and extremely filling. We were pleasantly surprised by the heat of the house hotsauce served with the pork street tacos. It was too hot for us (one of us likes very hot spicy foods the other 2 like mildlyhot). The one who likes very hot spicy foods couldn't take it. The guacamole is freshly made when ordered and SO delicious! Weare thrilled to find a Mexican restaurant that serves more genuine Mexican food. I highly recommend to anyone who likes Mexicanfood. Read more

This place is awesome! Great food and drinks and staff. They will actually make your guacamole right at your table. A girl came... along with a cart and made it at a table right behind us while we were seated at the bar. I didn't know they did this andalready had our food but will definitely get some next time we are there. She will make it to your liking...(more jalapenos,onion, ect...) And it definitely looked delicious. We will definitely be there for the Cinco de Mayo festivities! Read more
