The Granite Grille is located inside the beautiful Quarry Golf Club, a few miles east of Waco. The course is partially... surrounded by an equally beautiful HOA of homes. The club house / event center is large, modern, and tastefully executed. Withinthe clubhouse is the must-visit Granite Grille. The grille has indoor seating of course, but also has a wonderful,partially-enclosed patio dining area complete with a full bar, outside tables, and great view of the course. The white russianand the brandy Alexander were both the best in the area. The food menu is simple yet complete. Everything we ordered wasperfectly prepared and presented in a top-notch manor. The food, in short - was wonderful and the facility as a whole is veryclassy. A few miles southeast of Canton, and totally worth leaving the cramped, bustle of "the city". Frozen burger was so dry it took a glass of water to try to choke it down. Then waitress disappeared for 30 minutes. I asked for... the check and another vanishing act for another half hour. Sorry but not as good as it used to be. The home made chips are the best anywhere. The Philly tasted as if it just came out of... the Microwave. The chicken fingers were very good. Sitting outside is nice but something needs to be done to control theinsects. Service was very good. Read more

Had a delicious lunch outside with family! The view was gorgeous! Lots of space, not crowded, PPO practiced so we felt safe and... really enjoyed iurselves.We had a steak sandwich, philly steak sandwich, fries and the special.
