Delicious fish tacos. Love the food. A must try in town!
Hadn?t been to the new place yet and the experience was more than we even expected!! The food is beyond compare (ribs & steak on... a stick) still to die for. Excellent service, atmosphere, fun, as clean as it can be INCLUDING beautiful restrooms (????) anddefinitely welcoming. Don?t miss this experience! And that?s all being said coming from Dover!! Dinner with a friend. They had cod dinner, sweet potato fries, brown rice. Cod was very tasty. Rice very good. Fries were... mushy. I had bone-in pork chops. Very good. Baked potato was good but small. Dinner salad was good, fresh. Also had friedzucchini strips. Were very good. Service provided by Lauryn. Very attentive, great service. Restaurant was clean. This is the second time at John's Bar & Grille with my Girlfriend. We've had the ribs both times. They are the best! They are... very meaty and delish! They can be very busy but the wait is worth it when you dig into those ribs! We will be back soon formore!! ???? Read more
Same great food. Definitely not what you would expect in ambiance. I?m not sure that I?ll go back because the noise level is... just way too high to enjoy your meal. The new location is only one room and has no sound dampening at all. Way too loud to havea normal conversation. Even the waitress said that she feels like she is yelling all the time. Also, plan on waiting for atable. The new location has less seating from what I could tell. If the owner reads this, he should add acoustic treatments tothe space to help lower the noise level. Great food very reasonably priced, great service, a nice variety of craft beer as well, love their new location.
My absolute favorite dining experience. It looks like a dive from the front, then you walk into a spotless place with great... drinks and really tasty food. One of us had the Reuben, the other the had the chicken in a Dijon/goat cheese sauce that was puremusic. The fries are fresh cut and delicious. If you are seeking food in Canton, this is a must! We went to the new John's Bar for the first time last night with some coworkers. The old one was a place we'd go for breakfast... when my uncle was in town visiting so its nostalgic to me. I was so happy to see the original sign,tables and chairs. Theatmosphere was perfect. They were very busy and our waitress was working very hard. I got the Dijon butter chicken and it was sogood I had to share a few bites with my friends so they could also experience it lol. 10/10 and we will be back in the future! Read more
