I was passing through Canton a while back & stopped for a bite. Discovered Val's & have to say it was kind of pricey but food... was Very Good. The Trade Days thing was going on at the time but they found me a table right away & my server was terrific. Myonly complaint (& reason for 4 stars instead of 5 for food) was that I had to ask for the onion/garlic olive oil to dip my breadin that just about every other Italian restaurant on Earth gives you with your meal for free, then they charged me 5 bucks forit! It was very good & a healthy portion, though, so when I got a box for my leftovers I made a point to also get a thing to putthe oil in to take home as well so I could use it on stuff at the house. By far the worst food I've ever eaten, our waiter was a good but that was the only thing. Good in there. After working outside... all day come there to eat. After cleaning up they put us in the direct sunlight which was fine at first cuz it was full. Took awhile to get our order. I told the waiter it was hot right there in that area. They ain't offer to move this even though theyhave plenty of tables. Management never came out to say nothing. The food come out and it was awful. Just not a good experience. If you're looking for good Italian food, I'd look elsewhere Read more

The rolls/bread have a nice fluffy fresh taste, but just not much FLAVOR. I really didn't taste any garlic, if it was even... there? And when I ordered, I did ask specifically about garlic bread. I don't have much to complain about... Except for notbeing given any to-go utensils with my order, because I was literally eating this on the go this day, so yes- I ate myfettuccine like a kid eats their pasta. Grab it with 2 fingers and hold the noodles above your face, then drop em into yourmouth! ??????? Still delicious though. ???? Read more

This pizza was the best I?ve had in years. The environment was family friendly and clean. The service was fast even though they... were busy with the dinner rush and the bread for while we waited was amazing. Gavin, the waiter, was friendly and helpfulchecking in several times and recommending dipping sauces for the bread. Read more

The place smells like old pee, that explains why there is hardly anyone here. The menu is between $11and $23 dollars. No wonder... why one of the reviews on here is that someone paid $100+ dollars for food. The water tastes and smells like bleach ????????. The mozzarella sticks don't taste anything and the marinara sauce is disgusting. It tastes like canned marinara sauce not fresh. There are flys on the walls. The rolls are reheated and not fresh. If you want to do catering it's $102 dollars. The wait staffwas rude and we had to ask for our check because we didn't order anything else from the menu. The lady with glasses came overand asked if we wanted anything else and we said no so we thought she would've went and got our check so we could leave. When Iwent to go ask for our check the blonde girl just looked at me then a girl with dark brown hair came over so I could ask for ourcheck. Everyone else had an attitude like they were disgusted. This place needs both Gordon Ramsay and Robert Irvine's help. Read more

This place is an nice little Italian restaurant. It's in downtown Canton, Texas. We had an amazing lunch here while visiting the... Canton Trade Days. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was AMAZING. I wasn't expecting a whole lot the first timeI went. I was blown away about how good the food was. I had the pizzola pasta and my wife had the lasagna, manicotti, andtorttalinni. The big Italian bread they bring out with your meal is really good too! If you are ever in n Canton, you MUST trythis place out. Read more
