Lovely little place great hometown cooking...but the last time I went the lady was standoffish it seemed like she was mad maybe... at her husband idk but that's why we leave are problems at the door &maybe not work w/ our spouses.I asked for the enchiladaplate & she basically said " what about them" I almost walked out but ok. Boyfriend and I wanted to grab a bite of authentic Mexican food for brunch on way to I-10. Came upon Chevo?s Kitchen and was... very pleased with the kind service and delicious food! You order on the phone or at the window and pick it up. There was a smalltable and chairs outside so we sat there and ate before hitting the road. Highly recommend Chevo?s Kitchen!! Muchos gracias! I wish I'd known about this place when I lived here. The people are so nice and the enchiladas montadas are wonderful.
