I read an article from a radio personality in the local radio. It was stated that a cut of meat was very juicy that it did not... need any other kind of sauce to make it tastier. I had to go and try it myself. The cut of meat is big enough for severalpeople. If you want to try it yourself you will have to visit this Mom and Pop establishment. So much to love! This was my second time going here, and it was every bit as good as the first. The first time we went we had... more food than we could ever eat, so this time the wife and I split a chicken flauta appetizer and the shrimp and ribeye meal.The appetizer was amazing, not at all the typical stack of flauta with some cheese dip. The steak was perfect, even the bakedpotato was unexpectedly flavorful. My wife liked it so much the first time that she picked it as her "last meal" before majordental surgery that will have her on pudding and soup for a couple months. I got the Tampiqueña Arrachera and it was very good. The steaks here are quite lauded, and everything was very good. My server... was very helpful and friendly. The prices are very steep, and a bit more than I'd expect or like, but I had known this going in.The unassuming building doesn't give hints to how good the steaks are, so don't let that throw you off. We went on a Tuesday evening about 7PM. The parking lot was full (which is usually a good sign) and there were only 2 tables... open when we walked in (another good sign). The waitress that seated us apologized in advance and advised us there would be asmall delay in taking our orders as they were very busy and slightly understaffed, which was great service as they set theproper expectation from the get go. We ordered the Queso Fundido to start and the rib eye and red enchilada plate for dinner.Again, setting propter expectations, the waitress informed us there would be a delay on the steak as they had many orders forsteak ahead of ours but that she would bring our other food out in a timely manner. Amazing service in my opinion. After onlyabout 15 minutes, we had already eaten our queso, she brought out our entrees. The steak was ordered medium and was cooked toperfection and the enchiladas were amazing as well. You could tell the meat had never been frozen and they used only freshingredients for the vegetable dressings accompanying the dishes. Overall, great staff great food and exceptional service. $3 for a can of soda, each, no free refills. Mole was a bit sweet. Husband devoured his chimichanga. Kids did not like the kids'... cheeseburger. Too pricey for the quality. Place filled up when we were leaving at 6pm on a Wednesday. Read more
10/10! Good family environment. Huge menu with all the traditional TexMex entrees. Plus a lot of steak. Everything we had was... amazing. Great service. Food took a little time to come out on a Saturday night, but they kept bringing chips and soup so weweren’t concerned. Food was also a great value. BIG portions for reasonable prices. We’ll definitely go back to try more.Not the place if you want a margarita though. Read more
The food was amazing. I went to Le Cordon Bleu and spent some time in the industry and I’m telling you, these people care... about their food. Most places don’t plate their food nicely but they did. The chips and salsa were amazing too! Next timeI’m in El Paso, I’ll be coming here again. Read more
