We had a great experience at the Hungry Mermaid! The owner was very sweet and made a grilled cheese sandwich for my picky... 2-year-old. I HD the chicken salad sandwich and my husband had the picadillo rice bowl. It was soooo good. We ended up sharingboth dishes! We got the cheese flan as well which is delicious. I went there with my boss and we ordered our food. It seems like they don?t have enough stock of everything. They have limited... menus and their breakfast menu is handwritten, they took our salt and pepper shakers for another table, and then on top of that,it took about an hour to get the food. Other tables around us were being served before we were. The table that came in before ushad ordered and only one of them had their food, and was almost finished eating by the time the other person got their food.They are understaffed and slow. Very unprofessional. A table that sat after us got their food before we did. They use one ofthose billet blenders right in the dining room and it?s very loud and obnoxious. It?s ridiculous. Read more
