Visited from 5 hours away went to 4 places prior to this one and hands down the best. Staff courteous, professional and Manager... who assisted never missed a beat. Never had to ask for refill, food turned out to perfection and for sports bar was skeptical tosay the least. Warm, friendly and highly recommended to anyone who visits area STOP here you will not regret it. Good customerservice is hard to come by and they have it figured out. Read more
A great place to go for drinks and grub, and perfectly located across from the Guadalupe Horseshoe tube float. The tacos,... sandwhiches and burger are all amazing... but you've got to try the loaded tots or waffle fries - a superb, guilty pleasure. If you are lucky enough to have Meg as your bartender or server, you will know that she always smiles and is so kind and... attentive even when she may be busy or overwhelmed with service. Multiple times I have seen her work so hard to keep a smile onthe face of her customers whether local or tourists and never stops moving as fast as she can to do so. We took a trip to Canyon Lake and found this River Rose Tavern on Google. Waitresses and bartenders are great and very friendly.... Service was awesome! Food and drinks were even better! All the wait staff came to check on us to make sure we were good. Come onThursdays when they have open mic night. Great entertainment while dining in. This is THE place to be before and after a whitewater concert. Live music during dinner, great service, AIR CONDITIONING, and... delicious cocktails. After the show we walked back over & there was a dj on the patio. We had a blast!! Read more
Very Cool Vibe & as they like to say ?elevated? bar food and we have to agree. The Burgers were outstanding & you could really... taste the smoke flavor in the Pulled pork which they smoke on the premises! The white Queso is made from scratch along with mostof the menu items. They Also feature a Good Variety of Beers & handcrafted cocktails. Our Server & manager Shanna provided greatservice & the Head Chef, Mike, stopped by our table to make sure everything was to our liking. Now that?s what I calloutstanding service! Food was great, drinks too, but what really made it special was Holly, our waitstaff person! Holly was spot on for our group of... 8 with service & a smile. Both are rare in these days when the Service Industry needs good people, but there aren't enough to goaround. Atmosphere on a Wednesday was chill too.
