We had time to kill after our cruise and were wandering with luggage. The smell from outside drew us in. The food was so... flavorful and the owner was so friendly and personable. My friend came in from out of town and he found the Barkada restaurant on Google reviews and I followed his lead. This was the... most delicious bowl of pork belly that I have ever had! The seasoning was delicious and the atmosphere was so welcoming andrelaxed. We had the opportunity to be just the four of us in the restaurant and really get to know the owner and staff member.If you are looking for a place to try Filipino cuisine then I would highly recommend this restaurant. We also had this purpledrink/ice cream my friend ordered (which was absolutely amazing btw and highly recommend). I ate as much as I could, brimming with goodness for $13. Fresh, tasty, beautifultexture. What a great spot to have on the Cape. Very short hours: 11a-5p, 6 days week/closed Wednesdays.
